Anyone have experiences with Peel cases? I ordered this one:

https://buypeel.com/products/super-thin-iphone-x-case?variant=51367133203

It's not cheap and has shipping charges. I have the Caudabe crystal clear now and although I love the naked slim look, it provides no grip whatsoever. It feels like I am going to drop it every time I pick it up. I am hoping the Peel allows for grip and also lets the back show through.

I got both case:

1: Urban Armor Gear (UAG) - Monarch with carbon Fiber case

- It look absolutely awesome especially with Space Grey iPhone X

- It feel very comfortable when holding both hands or single hand

- Both sides (left & right) feel a very good grippy to pick up

- Fit nicely in the pocket.

- Front Screen doesn't touch on the table or back camera won't touch on the table as well

- External buttons (Volume, Ring/Silent, side) is pretty responsive.

- Easy to access Lighting Connector

- Carbon fiber (I'm not sure if they are real carbon but it feel super smooth)

- Firmly secure iPhone X, require effort to take out iPhone X without bending iPhone.

2: Snugg Infinity black case

- It look very nice especially with Space Grey iPhone X

- It feel very comfortable by holding both hands only, one hand might be a possibility to slip off easily

- Both side (left & right) feel just okay grippy to pick up due slim design & very smooth TPU shell

- Fit nicely in the pocket

- Front screen just very tiny gap between screen protector and table, back camera won't touch on the table

- External buttons (Volume, Ring/Silent, side) is pretty responsive. Side button contain no coverage protection

- Easy to access Lighting Connector

- Firmly secure Iphone X, require effort to take out iPhone X without bending iPhone.

ME: I really like UAG Monarch, however my wife like more Snugg Infinity and she didn't like UAG bulky case. :D

I bought the Apple Leather case in Saddle Brown, which gives it a nice luxurious feel. Love the Aluminium bronze buttons, Apple should have made an iPhone in that color. Would have been a no-brainer.

I used to have a Peel case on my iPhone 6 Plus. Peel cases are as thin as paper and have also a somehow "papery" feel to them (they are not fully transparent, but somehow translucent). They are not as slick as clear cases such as Caudabe's, but I'd say the grip is limited.

BTW I ordered the same case as yours :) but I don't have my iPhone X yet to put it on.

Just received the Caudabe Lucid Clear. As soon as I took the case out of the box, first thing I noticed was, wow, this thing is thin! Feel nice in hand and it’s extremely light. Immediately I took off the Ringke Air I had on my X and put this on. The second thing I noticed was, wow, this thing is slippery!!! Just trying to hold this while trying to snap a few pics I had to be extremely careful.

As much as I really like how thin this case is, and how nice it looks, it’s just a bit too slippery for me. Back to the Ringke Air for now.

This is nice case - Caudabe Lucid Clear, unfortunately some case do not provide adequate grippy on the sides (left & right)

No front lip + slippery = risky combo not worth the risk IMHO, no matter how good it looks. Do you have issues with the Ringke Air - is that why you're still looking for a clear case?

No issues with the Ringke Air. I found out about the Ringke Air the day after I ordered the Lucid Clear. The Ringke Air arrived very quickly, while the Lucid Clear took a bit more time to arrive. I think I will stick with the Ringke Air.

How does this case compare to the Apple silicone case as it pertains to grip and protection? What made you choose blue over the black?

I'm afraid I've never tried the Apple case, so can't compare. I chose the Sheath because of it's excellent grip and minimal size while still offering a good amount of protection.

I prefer colourful cases, so rarely buy black. I only got the navy Sheath as the red was out of stock.

UAG Monarch has unnecessary screws.. if the phone drops, i am afraid the screws would break the glass inside.

I will wait for the best: element case

I have the Totalee Leather case. It's very thin. It is plastic around the edges and there’s a leather patch on the back which helps it to stick to my Wood Qi charger.
I like it. But if it drops I don't believe much will be protected.

I also purchased the Burkley Leather case. I'm not very impressed with it. In their attempt at making a slim leather wallet case, I feel that there is little protection for the phone. Also adding more than a Drivers license and a credit card will make the snap on case push the phone out.

Just got the Ringke Air in the mail today and it's definitely my favorite out of 4 clear cases I've tried. Perfect front lip protection that is almost flush with my tempered screen protector (SLIGHTLY higher on top and bottom for added drop protection), solid grip, barely looks like it's on the phone (almost identical to the Lucid Clear IMO, blends fantastically), buttons feel great, and 4ft military grade drop protection. Going to return a couple and keep the JEtech as a backup. Only downfall is the branding, but it's barely noticeable and hidden when you hold the phone. I expect the case to yellow after 4-6 months so keep that in mind as well. Otherwise highly recommend if you're looking for a middle of the road slim and efficient clear case.

Yup. My exact thought on the Ringke Air. Everything is fine except the logo on the back.

I had to take mine off today. It’s going back. Supposed to be dust proof and after 3 days of use, there was plenty of dust that found its way in. That’s why I got it.

When I took it off, there was dust on the inside where the speaker openings are. Horrible execution of a case.
