Nice I have that Element case with the carbon fiber square but black and orange.. your going to love it! It’s my favorite case of the 3 I have but it was expensive.. but so worth every penny .. let me know what you think

With an all glass iPhone X, I went with Elementcase’s Formula X and Roll Cage for hiking days.

https://www.elementcase.com/shop-by-device/iphone-x-cases.html

I’ve used Elementcase since iPhone 4, but did use an Apple leather case for iPhone 7+, but I see the leather case as being too light duty for the all glass iPhone X.

The Formula case works with wireless charging. I am using the Samsung wireless charging base that came with my son’s Galaxy 6 (or was it 8?).

I have the formula orange and black it’s awesome!

Any cases that y'all have tried that are somewhat slim yet have a nice front lip? I wish Diztronic still made their voyeur cases, looking for something like that. Those cases had a nice 1.5 mm lip.

Anyone try out the Moshi Vitros yet?
-Ultra-slim case with military-grade drop-protection.
-Durable polymer to resist abrasion, heat, and bending.

Been on the hunt for something that protects from drops and blends with look of the silver iPhone by having a silver edge and a slight front lip. Only 1 review on Amazon with on-phone pics. Currently have the silver TOZO which looks great but I have zero confidence in it's ability to protect from drops and it's definitely slippery.

Just received the Ringke Air to replace my Spigen Liquid Crystal. Spigen made the Liquid Crystal for the iPhone X quite a bit bulkier than the one I had for 6 Plus and 7 Plus. I wanted a thin case and I’m loving the Ringke Air so far.

The edge around the camera lens is slightly raised.

The top and bottom of the front bezel is also slightly raised.

The only thing that I didn't like about the case, the logo on the back.

I like it. A little bit more bulky compared to the pictures from ebay, but seems to offer good protection. And it holds two cards. Some pictures of the actual case.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Thinner/slimmer, same grippy feel, same material.

Ringke Air = Spigen Liquid Crystal (fully TPU soft case)
Ringke Fusion = Spigen Ultra Hybrid (TPU soft sides, hard plastic back)

I had all four and returned all except the Ringke Fusion. The Spigens were noticably thicker looking (maybe more protection but the Ringke seems fine too). I went for the Ringke Fusion because the Air had a very slight blue tint on the rear of the case and the Fusion seemed more transparent.

I have this case, for what it cost I'm actually really impressed with it. looks great on the silver X too.
Yeah, but does it have all that writing on the sides with "designed in california made in south korea"? I chose another Spigen case because I thought there was too many logos.

I'm not a fan of the cases with silver painted plastic edges. Yes, it matches better with the iphone X, but it just feels wrong to be replacing stainless steel with painted plastic.. Almost prefer not to see the stainless steel than have the fake edge.

It’s definitely thinner than Spigen Liquid Crystal. Both are soft TPU material. Grippiness is about the same between the two.

Please tell me that case has a front lip?!

I like the sound of the rough texture - my Harmony remote has a sandstone feel which is great to hold...makes you feel like you can't drop the thing.

But, if no front lip....I'll be

Not much of a lip, that would take away from the form factor... here’s a pic

Thanks thanks for the photos. Looks very similar to the Spigen case that holds credit cards. Seems a little think for daily use, but will likely get it for days when I don’t want to carry a separate wallet (like traveling on vacation).

Decided to try a folio case as I don't like screen protectors but want something to protect the front when in my handbag.

Narrowed my choices down to the Otterbox Strada, UAG Metropolis, Tech21 Evo Wallet or Moshi StealthCover. After much deliberation, I went for the UAG. I'll probably give the others a go in a few months when prices come down.

I LOVE the texture on this! I can see why they call it frogskin. It feels grippy but frictionless and is soft like silicone.

The volume covers are rocker-style, so it's very easy to know if you're pressing up or down without looking. There's a generous lip around the screen and camera lens. The frame looks extremely solid with the exception of the button cover areas which are quite soft. There is a large cut-out for the mute switch, but it's fairly deeply recessed so it's not exposed. Despite clearly being a very protective case, it's not particularly bulky, even for my small female hands.

The front cover seems pretty rigid. When latched closed, it doesn't move about at all. I won't be storing any cards in it, but it doesn't really hold more than one comfortably anyway. When the phone is being used, it does sort of dangle - I don't mind this, but some could find it annoying. It does wrap behind the phone and you can tuck the magnetic clasp under so it holds itself in position, however this feels a lot more bulky than just letting it hang out of the way.

I like that UAG have eased off on the branding on the rear of the case. Previous versions had the logo stamped loudly across the centre, now it's at the bottom in black.

Only real negative is that the button covers are mushy as heck. I can live with this, but it's a shame they didn't do a better job here. There is no stand functionality with this case - not an issue for me, but needs to be pointed out.

A few photos attached as usual. :) This will probably the last case I'll buy for a while, but I'll definitely be trying some others over the next few months.

I don’t like cases, yet... I would like to keep my devices in great condition. Hence, my dBrand decision!

I know it’s probably an illusion due to the Apple logo being under the glass but it makes the skin look quite thick... almost as thick as a case lol.
