New edition to my case addiction. Feels great to hold and the leather back is nice. 10ft claimed drop protection. Buttons are meh but I can live with them. I’m most impressed by how comfortable to case feels to hold and how solid it feels. I feel really protected but still have that nice leather back. Really enjoying it so far.

I've been considering this case myself. I really like the Catalyst Impact Proof case I'm currently using, but the clear back is a fingerprint magnet, so I don't know how long I'll be keeping it. The Nomad rugged case is definitely in the running. Can you post a photo of your phone in the case?

Loving the dark color and already getting a patina.

Looks lighter in person.

No branding is a plus.

Yes, my phone is still safe and operable (although I haven’t removed the glass protector to see if there was any damage underneath). My gripe is the case doesn’t work as advertised. It’s supposed to have 6 foot drop protection. I dropped mine from barely 3-4 feet. So I feel like there shouldn’t be any damage at all, or very minimal.

I think it's worth noting that just because a screen protector has broken, it doesn't always mean that the phones screen would have broken. And of course the fact that adding a screen protector reduces the amount of lip you have.

Personally I don't rely on any case manufacturers 'drop ratings'

Do you know if this case works with the Apple Lightning Dock?

Sorry no. I don’t have a dock to test with. If I stop by an Apple store I’ll give it a try.
[doublepost=1512165796][/doublepost]Pretty sure the buttons are aluminum as well so there’s another plus. Like I said earlier they aren’t the most clicky buttons though. One of the only negatives.

I'm looking for a similar case to my IPhone 6's candy shell case but seems speck don't sell the iPhone x candyshells in the U.K.

If anyone knows a case that would be somewhat like it that would be helpful
* white case
* glossy back
* decent size lip
* nice button

I think we are largely out of luck on the CandyShell cases from Speck. I really want them to make the Onyx Clear CandyShell like theybused to have the the 6/6s and I currently have on my GS7, but they don’t even make the Onyx color on the Presidio Clear like they still produce for the 7/8, even though it’s more of a matte finish I would have that one as well.

I thought the Presidio was their replacement case to the Candyshell?
Edit....Presidio doesn't come in the colour you want...

I have the red and black version of that case. Actually prefer it over the Presidio Grip for a silly reason... it doesn’t turn my pocket inside out when I take it out of my pocket with the Candy Shell Grip lol. Very good case though, like it a lot. Definitely makes my “rotation” stack of cases

I have a presidio show. I like it

But white silicone Apple and crystal rugged spiegen

I got a good rotation but that’d likely be the fourth

I got presidio grip for 7+ and I think I would prefer candy shell. Just looks cooler imo
