I've been thinking, due to swipe up/down gestures becoming a significant focus on the iPhone X, whether it'd be better to have no case coverage on the bottom/top edges of the device?
If there were no edges, then it'd minimise the chances of a 'missed' gesture.
For eg.
I know with my current 6s case, when using Google Maps, when swiping up with the aim to access the Control Centre, I sometimes bring up the Google Maps men. With the X, & having a case lip on that lower edge, I can see me doing this more often..
I'm rethinking what may make my ideal, ergonomic iPhone X case now...
• Thin/Minimalist
• Smooth Matt & slightly grippy surface all round, with no grooves that collect dust, dead skin cells etc..
• Flat back (no camera, nor camera hole bumps)
• Matt Black must be a colour option
• Lay on the table lip on the front
• Exposed top & bottom edges for easy swipe gesturing & unimpeded speaker holes/Lightning port
If anyone knows a case that ticks all the above boxes, I'd appreciate it big time!
