Only if your idea of style is dirty and grungy lol

I quite liked the dark blue Apple silicone case I had on my 6s - not sure if provided massive amounts of protection but it has held up well and hubby now using and still looks good enough 2 year later.

Good point

You guys peaked my interest with the Caudabe Lucid Clear for the iPhone X, but I’m also looking at the Spigen Liquid Crystal. Any feedback on this one?

Caudabe all the way, the Spigen stretches and starts to come loose over time, wouldn't recommend Spigen clear cases. Plus they get really dirty quick and start to look brown.

Ordered myself the Caudabe Lucid Clear, always loved their products and I have one for my 6 and it's practically invisible.

Me too. It should arrive next week. Caudabe cases always quality. I'll see if this new model is the same. Of course when the X ships!

Thanks for the feedback. So, the Caudabe Lucid Clear does not stretch or discolor?

I've never had a Spigen clear case stretch, but they do yellow.

Hmm, I can handle slight discoloring, but if it’s extreme, meh!

Has anyone used the lucid clear before on other phones? I am tempted to buy it but have two concerns:

1. The clear case will scratch easily and look ugly in no time - all clear cases I bought have been like this thus far but Caudabe advertises it as being more durable to scratches.

2. The camera flash will not play well with a clear case resulting in washed out images - this is quite the case with such cases.

I already bought the bare case naked for the phone - dont like it, its too thin. Thinking of getting the totallee leather case but then now thinking I might actually like the white back instead. Any suggestions?

Looks like a solid case. I'm a bit apprehensive toward preordering cases right now, as the latest iPhone X production rumors will ensure that the bloodbath on the preorder night will be even bigger than anticipated. In the event that my delivery gets pushed out to unrealistic timeframes (past January 2018), I may end up keeping my 6s Plus and waiting until September 2018.

Yeah, I'm hearing the same. I'm hoping, although its unlikely, that I'll be able to lock in my spot during pre-orders for the iPhone X. Fingers crossed!

I'm planning on using all the tricks (already have my desired configuration saved to favorites in the Apple Store app) to try to secure a reasonable delivery timeframe when the preorder goes live.

hey, i'm looking at the caudabe clear case too and i'm just wondering for someone with whose hands are are oily/sweaty, how would the case hold up based on your experience? does it have good grip as compared to the others?

Same here. I am getting concerned about when I will get my iPhone X but hopefully if it's not at launch it's soon after.

I've been using Spigen cases for a while and they have never stretched or come loose for me nor have they ever discoloured and become yellow. They also tend to have a pretty good grip. I can't speak for Caudabe as I've never used their cases but I have ordered their Lucid Clear case to check it out.

Every so often, I check Amazon for any new cases that may have popped up and this one caught my eye:

https://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Pelic...e_nine_browse-bin:17290046011,p_36:2491157011

Pelican cases have a good reputation, although I've never used one personally. Again, I'm not about to spend $50 on a case before preordering the phone itself and seeing what delivery timeframe I will get, but this case seems like a worthy contender.

Thats a good looking case. My only "dislike" about the design is that massive gold button! lol

Thats a great idea! I didnt even think about getting my configuration set up prior.

I don't like the gold button, either. It's kind of an eyesore, in fact!

Has anyone looked at the new Rhinoshield Mod? Thinking of giving it a try. Apparently you can switch between bumper and a case with a back without taking the thing off. It’s interesting. And only $5 more than their crashguard bumper case. https://rhinoshield.io/mod

Yes saw this. Very interesting. Worth a try. The CrashGuard for the iPhone 7 was too wide for my liking. I’m hoping the Mod is not as wide and thick as the CrashGuard.

My only complaint with the CrashGuard is it was almost impossible to remove. I like to remove the case from time to time and clean the phone edges. It did do a great job protecting the iPhone 7 Plus. I dropped it out of my pocket when I was on a scooter, it landed on dirty sandy concrete and slid a bit. Both my iPhone and the CrashGuard were fine.

Magpul. I just need them to get their act together by October for the X.

Apple will not give the specs of the phone to Magpul so they can be ready at release. Magpul literally has to purchase a phone and take measurements. So it will be well after release.

Yeah, the CrashGuard was very hard to get off!

Is the bumper that comes with the Mod Case the same as the CrashGuard? It’s hard to tell from the pics.
