I like spigen, so I most likely will go with a spigen case, the ultra hybrid.

Although, I really do like the Apple folio case.....Just wish it had a closed bottom, but I'm still thinking that might be a contender.

Crazy someone is willing to pay $17 for that clear case.

I paid less than $5 for the four items shown below. And I received it a month ago. I have a couple more full-screen glass protectors which fully cover the notch.

I'll never buy another Apple leather case as they just get scratched and dirty so quickly. Some people like that but I am not one of them!!

I've never purchased a leather case from Apple. Durability and security (drop tested) were always concerns of mine. It looked, to me, like a case meant for style and not-so-much protection.

I've been looking for something just like this! I'll give this a serious look once I get a shipping date for my pre order. Thanks for posting!

Any good thin leather cases for the X that will also offer drop protection, something similar to the Totallee?

And do you guys think Zagg will still be the go to screen protector?

Only if your idea of style is dirty and grungy lol

I quite liked the dark blue Apple silicone case I had on my 6s - not sure if provided massive amounts of protection but it has held up well and hubby now using and still looks good enough 2 year later.

You ever use them? Experience?
I have used them before. On my 7 Plus I didn't install them perfectly and my iPhone wouldn't lay flat on a table, it wobbled. I ended up removing them. Previously I had them on a 5S. I ended up preferring a leather case.

This is just my personal opinion, so please don't bite my head off!

I would never put a $5 case on a $1,000 phone. I don't mind spending a bit more money on a good case to protect my investment. Right now, the Lifeproof Next is at the top of my list.

I pre-ordered this carbon fiber iPhone X case that's supposed to ship by the end of September. I wasn't a fan of their slim style cases since they didnt offer much protection, but this one has TPU with the carbon fiber so its much better for drop protection. It also has a thin metal sheet built into the case so I can mount my phone in my car with my magnetic car mount

Looks like a solid case. I'm a bit apprehensive toward preordering cases right now, as the latest iPhone X production rumors will ensure that the bloodbath on the preorder night will be even bigger than anticipated. In the event that my delivery gets pushed out to unrealistic timeframes (past January 2018), I may end up keeping my 6s Plus and waiting until September 2018.

Nice case. I never had a clear case. Is it grippy? Slim?
It's perfect for me, not slippy and doesn't really get greasy like most clear cases.

If you want something much sleeker I recommend their Veil XT, will give you scratch protection but no drop.

I emailed customer service about the Lucid Clear...

“Lucid Clear is approximately 1mm - very slim. It does have some grip/tack to it due to the coating, but it also really depends on your hands. If you have dry hands and live in a dry climate, it may be relatively less grippy. Moist hands in a humid climate - no issues whatsoever.”

I wonder how the thickness compares to the Apple leather and silicone cases? I live in the Northeast (Philly area), so I’m in all sorts of climates :) I never had a clear case and might give this one a try.

Ordered myself the Caudabe Lucid Clear, always loved their products and I have one for my 6 and it's practically invisible.

I have the Caudabe Sheath for my 7+ and it's very good quality.

But the camera cut out for this Lucid Clear version seems much bigger than the camera bump itself? The Sheath had perfect cut outs with no gaps around the bump.

They have a Sheath for the X too, that's the same as previous with the cut out right up to the camera.
