The Sheath is nice! I’m still considering the Lucid Clear. It’s hard to tell from the pics, but I don’t think there is a camera bump. Cases with camera bumps are meh!
Pretty sure the Lucid Clear does have the bump - from the website: "A raised edge around the camera cutout protects the iPhone's protruding camera".

Cases with camera bumps defeat my purpose of using a case - to allow use on a flat surface without rocking.

I totally agree with you. I’m going to double check with Caudabe and report back.

Good luck with that - I'm finding Caudabe (& other case manufacturers for that matter) aren't great at responding to queries, either via email or Twitter...still waiting on a few of them for over a week...disappointing....

:( Maybe, we can help?
Thanks, but I'm after a case with flat, lay on the table design on both front & back.

As an example of the poor response I'm getting, 1 week after my email, I get an auto-response stating they're reviewing my query & will get back to me....NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Yea, I know what you mean. I emailed Caudabe early yesterday morning and no response. Per their Twitter page, the camera doesn’t protrude, we are fairly certain that the camera bump does. Definitely a deal breaker for me.

Thanks for asking bud. :D

Reads like camera bump doesn't protrude for both cases?

I didn’t ask, someone else did :p

Who knows. Hopefully they get back to me soon. No rush though. iPhone X not coming out till early November, LOL!

So as of now, my two front runner cases are the Rhinoshield Mod Case and the Caudabe Lucid Clear, as long as there is no camera bump. I might throw the Sheath in the mix.

So sorry! If you're looking for something less bulky let us know. We do cover the camera piece.

Hey, slickwrapsinc, can you tell me if the naked wrap for the iphone X will be compatible with all those cases? Specially the Spigen Ultra Hybrid and the Caudabe Lucid Clear.

Other question: does it cover all the sides of the phone? Are the buttons exposed?

Thanks a lot

I ordered these two and already got them.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B074CMMCZM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The second one which is the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Crystal Clear is my favourite of the two.

Can you post pictures for us? Thanks a lot!

Me too. It should arrive next week. Caudabe cases always quality. I'll see if this new model is the same. Of course when the X ships!

Can you post some pictures for us of the case? Thanks a lot!

Ordered myself the Caudabe Lucid Clear, always loved their products and I have one for my 6 and it's practically invisible.

Hey, could you please send some pictures of the case? Specially showing details like side holes, buttons, camera hole. Thanks a lot

Yes, our 3M® wraps are confirmed to work with Spigen's Ultra Hybrid cases.

The naked wrap covers the full back and sides and comes with a 9H Tempered Glass Screen Protector.

You never answered if compatible with Caudabe Lucid Clear.

Caudabe finally got back to me regarding the camera bump on the Lucid Clear Case:

“It sure does! It's not very prominent (doesn't have to be since the case is about as thick as the protrusion, but it's there by design. You won't get a huge amount of rocking though.”

Meh! Might scratch this one off the list, or maybe give it a whirl.

I've never had a Spigen clear case stretch, but they do yellow.

I'm hoping that Otterbox makes the, exclusive for the Apple Store, case with the 3/4 clear back case. I have it on my 6S Plus. It is the only clear case I've owned that has not yellowed. And my phone survived 2 drops with the last being the most severe case (dropped and slid from my open purse when exiting the vehicle, about 4 - 5 feet on the garage floor). No shattered screen, no nicks or visible damage to the phone or case.

hahaha, these answers are "awesome"....o_O

About the buttons, he didn't answer either. So you guess there's no coverage for them. But I was expecting that

And, since you've' tested with the Ultra Hybrid, is there a problem if I take the case off twice a week, to clean the inside?

Just got my OtterBox Defender case in for iPhone X from Amazon! Now to just wait just over a month for the phone to put in it!

I have compared it to the Defender for my 6S Plus and I love the difference.

I know many lambaste Otterbox but I've dropped my 6 a few times over the 3 years I've owned it and its still in perfect condition inside my Commuter case.

Ordered my Defender case yesterday and it's already going to be here tomorrow. Now to wait for the actual phone...

Sounds like you've gone through the same wait/response as myself, as my query (from 3 days ago on Twitter) finally got a reply today....the Sheath case also has a slight bump around the edge of the camera hole, which means I've crossed it off my list.

I'm now looking at the Synthesis in stealth black https://www.caudabe.com/products/the-synthesis-iphone-x

It's a smart design in that the four feet in the corners elevate the phone so it doesn't rest on a protruding camera bump/hole. It should also mean the main part of the case is thinner than most that clear the camera.

My only concern is whether wireless charging will work despite this elevation, so I've asked them that & will wait at least another 3 days for a response....

Thank for pointing out the Synthesis. There are many positive YouTube video reviews on this one. It’s bulkier than I want in a case, but not too extreme. Definitely worth a look.

I’m still considering the RhinoShield Mod Case. I was never a fan of the CrashGuard because it was too thick, especially in the width. The Mod bumper looks slimmer than the CrashGuard bumper I’m leaning towards the silver iPhone X. That being said, I’d get the Mod clear back, but not sure what color bumper. Black or white bumper? I really like the silver iPhone, but it’s harder to pick out case color combos.

A lot of the chargers, like Mophie's, are circular so only the center of the phone actually sits on it, I believe. Apple's battery pad that they showed off at the X presentation looked to be rectangular and that one showed the whole iPhone laying on it.

Yeah that's my concern - if I do get a charging pad, it'll most likely be a larger sized one to accommodate multiple devices, so if the whole iPhone needs to be placed on it, I want to make sure a slightly elevated case won't prevent or slow the wireless charging process. I mean wireless charging is slow enough as it is, I don't want my case to slow it down even further.

Another contender has emerged!....The Speck Presidio...

http://www.speckproducts.com/apple/iphone-cases/iphone-x-cases/presidio-iphone-x-cases/IPX-PR.html

Seems to tick just about all the boxes.

Has anyone else used this case before???

***********

& now I've come across an even thinner case which appears to have lay on the table feature on the back... Totallee Thin Leather case...
https://www.totalleecase.com/products/thin-leather-iphone-x-case
.....No lay on the table protection on the front though :(
