Switching gears here-I finally decided to pick up the Flash yellow Apple Silicone case, and see that both that and the Spicy Orange are unavailable now.

I can’t remember, are these “seasonal” colors issued in a limited run? Hope not, I really dug that yellow.

Yes. It was like how they had camellia and two other colors for a limited time and then discontinued them. I had a feeling that the yellow and orange weren’t going to stick around. Guess your best option now is to see if any body is selling it online.

True. Sadly, the counterfeit Apple case companies have really infiltrated eBay and Amazon. I don’t think any vendors other than Apple sell those colors either...dangit.

I have the flash yellow. Don’t wear it often but it’s a attention getter for sure. I wanted that orange but never got round to it

Yep and if you want any other colors, better be quick to grab them too. I am sure there is going to be a refresh of new colors with spring coming up hence why they’re starting to discontinue these.

I just chatted with an Apple associate. She states the Spicy Orange and Flash Yellow for iPhone X will be available again soon, they are sold out due to extreme high demand. She suggested to keep checking the website everyday for stock.

I should have bought the Spicy Orange case while it was available. I have the Spicy Orange Silicone watch band and I'm in love with it.

Another huge Magpul fan. Bombard them with emails so they know the demand is there. I did. They said one’s on the way, but no release date yet.

I just emailed them. Still no date but it’s in the works.

I've always liked Native Union, this is my first case from them. Really pleased. The lip is nice and plays well with my screen protector, so I can perform bottom gestures very smoothly.

Seems fine to me. I haven't dropped it in any serious way. But the case still looks good and seems to be providing good protection.

Alright, thanks! I am trying to decide between the Nomad Rugged and Native Union CLIC Wooden. Do you think the Native Union case would protect the phone when dropped from over 1 meter?

Yeah I think it’d be fine depending on how it fell.

If you’re that paranoid, I suppose you could get something stronger. I’d say it is a case for style and every day protection.

Case identification time folks. X files. A spigen case?

I’m having a hard time knowing if the bottom is exposed or not but if it’s indeed exposed then it’s probably the Spigen Thin Fit case. And the (clearly visible) Spigen logo back up my claim.

Also I’m not sure if it is the person finger or an Apple logo cutout in the middle top of the case but if it’s the latter then it could be the Spigen Thin Fit A case which is the same as the one I mentioned before except it have an Apple logo cutout.

I bought this case on eBay for $29 brand new, I was skeptical buying it but I lucked out and it’s definitely authentic and the screen is definitely grainy but doable! Not an everyday case but a amusement park or beach kinda case for sure!

I'm seeing a bunch of brand new LifeProof Fre cases for the X on eBay, some starting as low as $20. For $20, I'd pick one up for those occasions where this type of case may be required, but I'd rather not get stuck with a fake.

I keep following on amazon and the prices keep dropping. Have to say...the colors are not great. Not a fan of the lime green

I'm not a fan of the colors, either. I'm currently using the Incipio Dual Pro and am very happy with it, but wouldn't mind having something with 360 protection for outdoors activities.

Well, lifeproof’s website says there should be a white sticker on the inside of the case, but my case doesn’t have one... lol, if in fact the case I bought is a knock off, it’s a damn good one! But I guess I won’t be putting it through the water test... lol... I’m gonna keep it anyway, it will be fine for what I will be using for!
