I have the Pitaka MagCase (black/grey plain color) and love the minimalist, slim style of the case, but it's a major fingerprint magnet. Is it the nature of the Aramid material and/or the oils from my fingers? I emailed Pitaka about the fingerprints they said it’s the nature of the coating on the case. They also said the twill model is less prone to fingerprints than the plain model. Maybe the plain camouflages them better because of the pattern? I’m considering exchanging plain for twill, but even after watching some YouTube videos on the case, the plain one appears to be a fingerprint magnet.
It's unfortunate & surprising at the same time - without seeing this case in the flesh, I would've hoped the material wasn't so flat to attract the fingerprints..

The Pitaka MagCase is everything I want in a case. Slim, minimalist case with open buttons and top/bottom bezel exposure.

The material is relatively flat, but does have some texture to it. As the Pitaka rep stated, there is a coating on the Aramid material, which attracts fingerprints. The twill model has more of a pattern to it than the plain model, so maybe the twill one hides fingerprints better.

Well I took a chance on an eBay deal for a UAG Monarch and ordered it. I’ve had the Crimson before but returned it because I didn’t think it was worth $60 but at this price ($25 w/free shipping) it was too good a deal to pass up. It seems legit.

EDIT: Unfortunately it looks like the seller has raised the price by $20.

Here’s a pic:

We noticed that iPhone X users do care much more about the screen protection than the users of the previous iPhones. Full screen iPhone does make a difference. :D We only focused on minimalistic design in the past but we will cover both the minimalistic case and the protective case in the future.

Hi Daranx, member of PITAKA here.
Certainly it's PITAKA MagCase. Glad to know you ever tried our case. But we have sold many and many of iPhone X MagCases. Haven't got the feedback of our Magcase scuffing the phone body. Just want to make sure you got a good experience of using our iPhone 7 case. Let us know if you need any help.
Thinking about getting the MagCase for my X. Will it scuff the body of the phone? Hate to spend $50 to ruin my phone.

After all the great reviews I purchased an evutec karbon from target today which was on sale for $35. Love the grip, love the somewhat minimalistic style, and the magnetic mount for the car’s air vent is pretty awesome. Never looking back as far as everyday cases go, but I am picking up an apple leather case for the dressy occasions.

Is that the same as the Pitaka case/mount?

Yes still use mine daily. Pretty good case. Magnetic mount, reasonable price, covered buttons it’s a win.

No. It won't. What I want to point out is that the structure of kevlar makes our case different from the common cases, so the way of removing it is also special. But as long as you follow our instructions to get if off, no scuff will be caused.

is it compatible with dbrand skins? or any skins? will the pitaka magsafe still fit, with skins installed?

It's such a tight fit that I highly doubt it will work with a skin of any kind.

Despite saying that I wouldn't dare getting the Pitaka case previously, I ended up getting one and it's one of my favourite cases.

I noticed that it's slightly thicker than the previous iPhone models, probably to accommodate the metal plates, but it does make the case more sturdy.

I decided to order the Pitaka MagCase black/grey twill model. The twill pattern doesn’t appear to be as prone to fingerprints like the plain pattern. Also, the twill pattern hides any fingerprints better. The fit and quality of the MagCase is amazing. Highly recommended if you are looking for a slim, minimalist case.

Can you explain how to remove your case?

Hi, any recommendation which is the best case that covers the bottom part of the phone which Apple leather fail to protect and also has a great camera protection? Thanks!

Leather? Look no further than Burkley. I believe they're having a half off sale right now too using "valentines18". Several models to choose from
