I’ve stuck with the Caudabe sheath since getting my iPhone X. If tics every box for me. If I could change one thing, I’d prefer it have a different type of grip. The sandpaper texture is rough if your hands are dry.

Overall, Caudabe is probably the best cases for me so far.

Couldn't agree more...Started out with the Apple silicone case because at the time, there went many good options for me. I prefer a minimalist case on my phone...don't like carrying around a brick, wrapped around my phone...But the Apple silicone or any silicone case, picks up lint and dust like a magnet. Purchased the Caudabe Sheath and it's been on my phone ever since. No issues with dust or lint with the Sheath, but I'm with you on the grip. I like that it's rough, and good for grip but I do wish it was just a touch smoother...but all in all, a great case for the X...

Pelican is a solid unit. Had same case for my 7+ and this one, sans camera flip and size differences is the same case. Feels good in hand, not overly bulky, good buttons and face down protection. Pretty solid little case.

A rare case that addresses the grip issue is iPhone X Case (5.8"), DesignSkin [Corner] : Shock Absorbing Ultra Slim Light Thin Edge Cushion Bumper Protection Hard Cover Simple Basic Minimalist Case for Apple iPhone X (Matte Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076HHQMKZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_w8GCAbDSZZCDV
I have this case. Really adeparture from traditional cases as both sides are totally open. Top and bottom covered though. I kind of like it and use it occasionally.

Can I ask why you only occasionally use it? Is it because it doesn't provide enough coverage/protection for daily use?

& how would it be in terms of grip? - Hoping it improves on a naked iPhone's slipperiness.
Feels like a naked phone since there's no side coverage. It's literally the naked phone. Top and bottom are covered with TPU as well as the corners. Hard to explain but it's a cool case.

I prefer some simple case for my phone, some with complicated pattern always makes me feel little cheesy.

This is my first one, got some pics from Amazon:

It’s very simple but I really like it, I bought it on Amazon and their service is good.

And then I bought a clear one from their store again, it’s good, but I prefer the first one xd.

Hope it helps.

I ran into it by accident actually. I was out shopping with the wife and I found it in the sale rack at Ross. Initially thought it was Marshall’s but I was mistaken. Only $8!
Yeah but, what is it (model)?

Also, is it a slider case? I've used a slider case for all my iPhones. Like how they're applied/removed from the phone...they feel more snug & tend to be made of polycarbonate which makes them tougher whilst being thin/minimalist.

Not sure what the model name is. It just says hard shell case on the box. It is a 2 part case that slides together. The fit is very solid and secure. Here’s a pic of the box and the case taken apart.

Thanks. Struggling to find it on Amazon.

What would that website be that's hidden under the lower section of the case??

Is the front lip ok? It looks less intrusive than most because it slopes outwards on an angle, which I'd think means Home Gestures aren't affected too much?
