LastPass...because its the only one I have tried. Many like 1Password it seems. Wonder if there is a way to port info to 1Password if I wanted to switch...have about 300 passwords/notes.

Lastpass. Also has integration with iOS and web browsers.

Yes. I am long time user of LastPass and use the integration mainly on Safari MacOS. I do experience some problem sometimes. I have never used its on iOS. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Do people mainly use 1Password because of its integration with iOS and MacOS?
Not sure if integration is the right word. You can pretty much use every password manager in the same way. Some have standalone apps, some are web-based but all offer "auto-login" of some kind, as well as iOS apps.

I guess it comes down to feature set and price. Early on, 1Password were one of the only to do local encryption meaning that even if their data was hacked, there was no way for your data to be compromised.

Nowadays, it's almost an even playing field which is where prices comes in.

I stuck with 1P because I liked the design, their ethos on security, the almost system-agnostic set up and reliability. It has 2FA built in which comes into it's own now in iOS12.

Currently I open LastPass on iOS and copy password anytime I need a password on iOS. Am I doing something wrong. What apps in iOS support auto login?

I use it because the native Mac app is better than LastPass's. And I have heard some questions about LastPass's parent company that makes me question its future.

1Password, however I consider switching to EnPass (10,99Euro iOS/ Desktop Free / Sync with all major cloud services or webdav)

IMHO 1password also takes security more seriously than any of the others I’ve looked at. Go read their white paper describing their crypto scheme and then see if you can find anything comparable from the other password managers.
