For all the reasons above!

It's cross-platform and, mostly, people like to see that their secure data is handled, well, securely.

Take a look at their site and you'll see: www.1password.com

Keychain works but it's not as flexible and if/when it doesn't work you're sort of left in the dark as to why

What are some things that didn’t work with keychain? It’s always worked for me so I’m curious.

With 1Password, I can store notes, files, and storing drivers licenses, social security numbers, credit card info is easy since there are templates for those items.

1password! I know they are doing it right when I become visibly frustrated because I cannot easily setup the app on a new device without doing some digging for my secret key. :p

Roboform. Been with this for over 5 years. It’s excellent. It’s all integrated with iOS too.

FYI 1Password is having a deal if you know someone with 1Password, they (the friend) can send you a year free. Not bad to have it a year to try it out.

I’ve been using SafeinCloud for a handful of years now. Single payment, free desktop app, multi platform...

The only thing I miss is the ability of sharing passwords with my wife.

Wow, I’d love to take advantage of this if anyone has an invite they could send me.

1password‘s price model is a joke, way to expensive. enpass has the best value for money and has also made an security audit recently.

I guess it all depends on what you view worth the money.

1Password personal - $2.99/month cross platform, all apps
EnPass personal - $5.99 (down from $11.99/month) PLUS $5.99 optional extra for desktop version

Not sure why you think 1P pricing isn't good value looking at those prices.

It's great they both publish whitepapers on their security - this sort of thing is what sets platforms apart in a crowded sector

Wrong. Enpass does not have a subscription. You only pay $5.99 per platform once.

Say you have iPhone and iMac, you just pay one time $11.98 for a lifetime licence. That same amount of money only gives you 3 months of 1Password subscription....
