Wasted my time a bit today ;-).

1. I reinstalled the Apple Store version - didn't work
2. I installed the latest version from Microsoft - 21.170.XXXXX - didn't resolve anything
3. Opted-in for the insider preview version - 21.175.XXXXX - no luck

So installing/reinstalling was just a waste of time ... at least for me.
Thanks for taking the time to try these potential solutions. Hopefully Microsoft or Apple can come up with something.

Similar problem here, only one account possible on Intel iMac, business account doomed on M1 MBP.
No luck with different versions from Microsoft.

OneDrive.app has been a bug-ridden monster on both my Macs most of the time, causing a lot of synchronisation issues and requiring permanent workarounds to be kept alive somehow without ever having a phase of "just working properly".
The current version(s) seem to be even worse, especially on the M1 with the current macOS revision. Hope they not only manage to deploy a quick fix, but also get it to work reliably some beautiful day...
If I would not require OneDrive for the Microsoft 365 account of my workplace, I wouldn't even spent a single thought on using it...

Same issue here on my M1 iMac. Luckily I noticed it before updating my Intel MBP 15". I hope "they" can get this sorted ASAP.

I deleted and re-installed OneDrive from Mac App Store. Couldn't get any OneDrive accounts of mine to set up. I then downloaded and installed from Microsoft. Am now able to get one OneDrive account to set up, but, like all others on this thread, can only get one account (nothing happens when I click Add Account). :-(

Is this a Microsoft OneDrive update or a Big Sur update that resolves this, do you feel?

I just did the update to 11.6 and I have the same issue with both MacBook Pro I have! Once again Microsoft is causing a serious issue... The world would be a better place without them! Just joking...

The problem started with the application of Big Sur 11.6, however, my best guess is that it will be Microsoft that fixes the problem.

The problem started with the application of Big Sur 11.6(...)
From my experience, this is only partially true.
Yes, this specific issue started with macOS 11.6.
But I already had a lot of mess with the predecessors of 11.6 and the OneDrive App, including regular hangups, sync stops and versioning issues.
All of those issues were reproducibly occurring with a corporate MS365 Account and the OneDrive app on both an Intel and a M1 Mac.
To me this just doesn't look like macOS bugs are the root cause here.

As the OneDrive app has been the bug-loaded culprit before, I'd strongly share your conclusion here:
(...) however, my best guess is that it will be Microsoft that fixes the problem.

Another issue I am also facing is that on a M1 MacBook Pro, I can no longer log in my Work account... After entering the work email the app just does nothing. And I am referring to a corporate MS365 account. Go figure...

And also same here - MBPro i7, OneDrive only allowing one account to be set up.

Apple Support - "Sounds like a MS issue, you need to contact them"
MS Support - awaiting them to look at post on MS Community Big Sur 11.6 - broken OneDrive!?

Please all chip in on that topic and get MS on the case!

Not only has it stopped working for multiple accounts. I unlinked my personal and work accounts, and then tried just to sync my work account, and now Onedrive just crashes out when trying to add only my business account. Has completely stuffed my work day now! Have uninstalled and re-installed, still cannot sync business Onedrive

OneDrive stopped working for me on macOS and iOS.

Just like everyone else in this thread, I cannot get OneDrive to load my Business account on macOS.

On iOS it isn't updating folder contents correctly. I could have four folders, and the iOS OneDrive only shows two. I can force-kill the app and re-open it over and over, and it makes no difference.

We pay for Office 365 at work, and I use OneDrive quite a bit. Documents are synced and signed by me on my iPad with the Apple Pencil, then synced back to my Mac where I then submit them. I may go days at a time where OneDrive is the only Microsoft app I use.

And now it's broken on every platform I use it on. It won't load at all on macOS, and it is still not updating folder contents on iOS. What the hell, Microsoft? This is how you treat business customers?

I'm seeing the same problem with not being able to add/sync multiple accounts under macOS after upgrading to 11.6. OneDrive is working for the one (business) account it decided to 'keep', without problems.

Microsoft is aware of this issue and is working with Apple on a fix. If you're comfortable with Terminal, you can add your 'missing' account(s) by running the OneDrive app with certain switches (which will work until you reboot). Ask your Microsoft 365 admin for details.

I'm having the same issues. My personal account works well but for the life of me I can't access the work account. What a disaster on Apple and Microsoft. Come on man!

I am a OneDrive user with two accounts, having two instances of OneDrive running. It's been working great from Mojave on, up until now. I had two OneDrive icons in the menu bar, and could access either instance in finder.

Just wrapped up the 11.6 upgrade, and upon reboot, I can only run one OneDrive instance. Either account can log in OK, I just can't seem to have them both on at once. I only see one account in the OneDrive preferences window, and if I try to add another one, the window just disappears. Anyone else in this boat with me? Any suggestions?
This morning my MacOS auto updated to 11.6 And my business onedrive no longer synced, although my personal OneDrive was still working. Attempts to add it back (through OneDrive preferences) before and after unlinking my personal account, using the reset OneDrive app, deleting and reloading the OneDrive app from either the MS site or from the App Store, turning things off and on again as well as various combinations of all of these - nothing worked. Raised a service ticket and spent time with MS tech guy this morning who ran through similar steps with me whilst watching my screen, as well as doing some back–end checks. Its a known issue since about 20 hours ago that they are working on. They acknowledged major impact on my work flow and advised no work around available at the moment other than working off the online version of OneDrive. MS said they will contact me again with an update tomorrow. Hopefully it mysteriously starts working again. Given the number of people impacted, I assume this must be a high priority for them to fix. Thought I would post this to save others from spending time trying to fix!

I have the same problem. It is either I use the corporate OneDrive or the personal OneDrive. I tried unlinking and linking but the OneDrive app will only work with the first one that you link. After that you can't add account. Pressing the Add Account button does not give any response.

I seem to have found a temporary work around by logging into my different one drives on different browsers and then pressing sync from there. I think I had removed both of them to update my MacBook (Pro, mid 2015) as I needed the HD space so it looked like a 'fresh sync'.
I now have two one drives synced (both different work accounts) and one of them has added the Sharepoint drive too.
Only just managed to figure this out so no idea if its a long term solution, but I tried most of the other suggestions on here and nothing else was working.

The suggestion to login via a browser and sync was interesting, but did not work for me. As of this morning still limited to one Microsoft 365 account at a time for OneDrive.

I have the same issue. I reset Onedrive, reinstalled from App Store as well MS site. I can only add my Personal OneDrive not the Company.
Interesting that after installing 11.6, MS Teams was not logging in anymore. I had to delete the relevant folder in my Library folder

I am in the same boat as you. Don't uninstall and reinstall OneDrive. I did that and now I can't add any accounts back to OneDrive.
May be this is usefull for you. I had the same problem and tryied to uninstall and install again, after same problems than you, I moved Ondrive app to the recycling bin, deleted the Onedrive folder, rebooted and installed again. I was able to set it up, but only with one account. Unable to add the second account.
