Adobe Muse works. Logitech wireless gaming mice only seem to work when the dongle is directly attached, not via a hub.

My G903 is working just fine. Including all the custom actions.

VMWare Fusion vms start up with a "Not Enough Physical Memory" error even though there is ample memory allocated in settings (and worked prior to BS update)

Do you really think VMWare wanted their old versions to work on the new release of Mac OS? Releasing new version of VMWare Fusion with every new mac OS release is their strategy to add more revenue

Aside from the obvious ones of Backup and Sync (Google Drive) and Firefox constantly crashing tabs, another one is: Sony Sound Forge. This crashes immediately after opening. Too bad, I love that program. Hope a fix will come soon from either side.

If it helps, I'm on Firefox 81 (Nightly) and have had no crashes at all. Even if you don't want to be on the Firefox betas, it could be worth you downloading Nightly if the crashes otherwise make your version unusable. Take a backup of your profile first, in case it isn't backwards compatible once you decide to revert back to the standard version.

Anyone managed to get Cisco's AnyConnect VPN v4.9 to work on Big Sur Beta 4 (20A5343i)? In my case it finishes the installation successfully, but right after "updating preboot", it starts popping up this error and it never stops until I uninstall the app. Funny enough v4.8 worked with no problems. Also, the same 4.9 version works flawessly with Catalina.

Also, disabling SIP didn't have any effect, either.

In my case it finishes the installation successfully, but right after "updating preboot", it starts popping up this error and it never stops until I uninstall the app. Funny enough v4.8 worked with no problems. Also, the same 4.9 version works flawessly with Catalina.

I am also keen to know, as I must use it for work when working from home! I have no other choice but to use 4.9,as the IT staff from work controls this. Even if I installed 4.8, it would then push out 4.9.

Sorry then it's my bad, I only had the newest version to test. Maybe the earlier version somehow works even when the kext is not loaded correctly.

Releasing new version of VMWare Fusion with every new mac OS release is their strategy to add more revenue

The is so wrong. Yes, there is a new Fusion version for most new macOS, but it is often a free point release. For example 11.5 (2019) was a free upgrade from version 11 (2018). Over the years I generally get a paid upgrade every 2 or 3 years.

Do you know whether VMware are going to release a paid or free upgrade this year?

For the umpteenth time; the App store version DOES NOT work for most people. If you have ever used Parallels Pro, or you are running your VM of BootCamp, it will NOT work. The App store version is not a solution...

Yep, Parallels Desktop for AppStore has some limitations.
But we ca use it as a temporary workaround

• Firefox (No Offical support, cannot be downloaded from site using beta, audio/video issues with YouTube, unable to play Spotify, Hulu, Netflix, etc. Nightly version 79.0a1 (2020-06027) resolves video/audio playback issues. Intermittent glitching of YouTube onscreen graphics still present. Checkboxes do not work.)
• Forecast Bar (issues with the dark menu bar icons and Big Sur's dark menu bar in light mode)
• iStat Menus - Functions OK when in dark mode. In light mode the Big Sur menu bar appears to stay dark which causes the iStats font to be unreadable (dark text on dark background)

V 16 looks promising, however, when I launch my VM Windows 10 it does not have access to the Mac Desktop. The application has full disk access and I'm still trying to find a workwround.

Sparrow not working.

Sparrow the old email app doesn't seem to work. It works in Catalina but in Big Sur Beta it launches but does not show the main window. Since it is a very old app I don't expect it to get any updates. But hopefully the issue is related to something like CocoaWindow changes in 11.0 and Apple will patch it in future betas. Its unlikely but one can hope.
