It's in the Mozilla FF Bugzilla now...tons of people seeing this. Might be related to having uBlock Origin installed, but I haven't tested this.

Seem to work fine for me so far (Developer Edition version 80.0b4 with Ublock enabled.

Safari is actually the one freezing my mac follow by a logout, it has happened more than 4 times since the morning and that's since beta 2.
The Tech Preview was more stable for me but I uninstalled it since the current build of safari is ahead of it
Now I gonna have to reinstall it.

With Word 2019 as I write the words disappear and reappear, is there anyone who has the same problem?

I switched to Insider Fast, 16.41 and it still has the disappearing lines issue but it's less severe. Not sure if it's because of the update or if B4 changed something to make it better.

Is Office 2019 16.39 Standalone compatible with Big Sur without enable Insider Updates? I use a lot Outlook.

I don't use Outlook but except for the Word issue above, the other apps seems to work fine.

MindManager 13.1.115 is stated as working, but every time I try to create a new document or open an existing one, it crashes.
Anybody found a workaround on this?

Thank you.

Not seeing those issues here with Office 365 on the insider channel

What office builds are you on?

Also Outlook works perfectly for me too, I use that for work.

I'm using Outlook 16.39. I would not use the Insider Update feature for personal data collection that does ...

You can workaround it with Parallels Desktop for Mac AppStore Edition. It's working.
Unfortunately, that solution doesn't support all the functions of Parallels Desktop Pro and the workaround that was fine for Beta 3 does not appear to work with Beta 4.

Parallels stopped working for me again with Beta 4. Message: cannot locate Parallels driver.
Are you talking about this script --

Code:
#!/bin/sh
export SYSTEM_VERSION_COMPAT=1
open -a "Parallels Desktop"

I just saved that as a little script called "Parallels.sh" and run it when I want to run Parallels.
I have been running it all afternoon with no problems.
However, I have been using the latest version of Parallels 15.1.4. on Big Sur ß4.

Pretty sure the Dropbox beta came out during beta 1
I am struggling to understand you here. Why is Dropbox mentioned? I don't use Dropbox. I was asking about the AdGuard issue.

AdGuard for Safari works fine, you can download it from the App Store, for Firefox use Ublock
I am using the "Adguard for Mac", I prefer the system-wide ad blocking.

For the umpteenth time; the App store version DOES NOT work for most people. If you have ever used Parallels Pro, or you are running your VM of BootCamp, it will NOT work. The App store version is not a solution...

Avast seems like a hot mess, or at least its interaction with the firewall. A dialog was popping up for no more than half a second, asking whether I want to allow Avast access. Allowing Avast in the security/firewall settings did nothing to end this. It was literally flashing in and out every several seconds, and stealing focus to boot. I had to take video just to be able to pause and read the message, to determine what the dialog was. I'm not that fast (to hit accept), especially when the window pops up in a random location each time (!), so I had to just delete Avast.

Re Google Drive
I found this suggestion on Reddit. It is free for Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive.
It appears to work (I have been using it for all of 5 mins...) It's rather like pCloud in that it mounts a link to your clouddrive on the desktop, which then works like an attached drive, rather than a synced folder

I just installed the public beta, but the problem with Word remains
