Had to change to Intego.
Viruscan Works but cannot enable it to work all the time.
The firewall works fine

Is that still working for you? Specifically, which version of Intego? Their website says that it is not supported yet. I have contacted them regarding a beta, is that how you were able to get it to work?

I've looked into Avast, Kaspersky, Sophos and BitDefender. None look to be promising, at least right now. I'd love to learn how you got it to work - thanks!

I still can't get Drobo Dashboard to work, it keeps showing a "A required portion of Drobo Dashboard is no longer running" pop up message. This is on all the beta Big Sur versions including todays Beta 10 update. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Drobo Dashboard multiple times, including powering down and rebooting the Drobo itself.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be appreciative, especially since Drobo Dashboard in now listed in the "Working" column at the beginning of this thread.

Liking beta 10 a lot. The only issue I can't resolve is with the Roboform browser extension in Safari. If I have the extension enabled and go to forums.macrumors.com I crash EVERY time. With it disabled it seems rock solid no matter what site I visit.

Issue reported to both Apple and Roboform. Roboform says they cannot recreate... but I can't NOT recreate. Not sure where to go from here with this.

Yes, after installing Beta 10, YouTube using Safari won't load any video. The following error occurs.

An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID: LsN3J7uirZiThX6s)

It will play one video but then when I go back, Safari goes to a blank screen. At this point nothing else works, I have to S/d Safari then restart it. Rinse repeat.

PS Tried Firefox, works flawlessly.

Ok, have just upgraded clean install of Beta 9 to Beta 10.
No problems with Youtube on Safari (apart from not enough kitten videos showing...).
No problems dragging and dropping images from Youtube's home page into LibreOffice Draw.

There were a lot of problems with BS Beta 8, and if you have only done incremental updates from ß8 to ß9 to ß10, it might be worth while downloading the latest full installer using the macadmin scripts.
These can be found here

PS, nothing to do with kittens, but you might want to watch this.

Same issue here. I clicked the settings for the site and turned off Content Blockers and it started working again and worked consistently after I turned that off.

Turned off Safari extensions, reinstalled Beta 10, tried from another account, cleared YouTube cache, cleared Safari history.

YouTube fails consistently under all the above. One other observation, Safari Technology Preview has the same problem.

I've turned off all of my blockers for the YouTube on Safari and YouTube still not working on my 12" 2015 MacBook running Safari.

I ran to my other computer, an iMac and turned off auto OS updates. I guess that is what I get for running Big Sur on both my Macs . I guess Ill use the old MacBook as the testbed until Big Sur gets a full release.

Elsewhere, people have reported getting around the youtube/safari issue by turning on the developer menu and toggling the VP9 support options (Develop / Experimental Features). Try the battery one first, even if you're not on battery.

what content blockers are you using? Can you turn them off just for the YouTube site?

I'm using Wipr for my content blocking and yes, you can. In this case, it's for just the YouTube website. I just went under the Safari menu and selected "Settings for this website" and unchecked the "Enable Content Blockers"
