In the Apple Store, the Blue and Black iPhone 15 Pro (Max) were completely scratched up from the MagSafe charger.

The best colors this year are the Natural Titanium and the White version, as these showed the least scratches from the MagSafe charger.

You would think Apple would test their iPhones with their own MagSafe chargers? Apparently not.

If you care about scratches, don't buy the Blue and Black version. In the Apple Store, these were the models that were all scratched up.

The Natural Titanium and the White version looked way better.

Magsafe attaches to the rear panel of the phone which has the color under the glass. Don't see how it would make a difference what color the phone is as far as avoiding your "issue".

Aside from the fact that these are in-store display devices that are handled frequently and without any kind of serious concern for damaging them…your statement suggests that I might somehow be influenced to purchase a color I do not want because it scratches less and is therefore the 'best' to get.

I assure you, I will get whatever color I want (if I want it). Scratches be damned.

I'd love to see a photo. I'm not sure what you mean by scratches. Do you mean like a ring where the MagSafe attaches? Those can always be wiped off in my experience. I'd be really surprised if the back glass itself scratched. It's pretty hard stuff.

You can always get a glass back protector, kinda like what we use for our front displays. That’s if you’re really OCD. Why the hell not they make them. See the link attached. 😂

Update the guy from Bestbuy sold me a glass cover and it hid the scratch
Please share a picture of the scratch. It's really not good that the coating is scratching the early. My 14PM showed signs of wear and tear around the camera 6 months in with no case.

I can try but the Apple Store told me wear and tear I’m passed the 14 days I won’t bother for a replacement

If you are on iUP, this would be the least worries and should not hinder the upgrade at all (unless that scratch affect the quality of the photos you take. Plus you have applecare plus. I'd just say use it normally, maybe one day you may accidently drop it and maybe in hopes that the back will shatter. Since the back glass (along with the camera ring) being removable, they likely will just replace the back glass which likely includes the new camera lenses on the back cover.

Just wow. You know how many people have touched those devices? Do you also know people beat them and abuse them just for scratch test purposes? Get whatever color you like people. Enjoy your phones.

What kind of non-sense argument is that? The White and Natural Titanium phone have the same type of “abuse” and don’t show these scratches.

And you cannot “abuse” an iPhone in an Apple Store with so many Apple employees watching and other people also looking. That is not going to happen.

The black and blue are just bad as they scratch very easy. It is as simple as that.

Won’t dust get in?
