Just thought I'd share my recent experience:
A bubble showed up on my iPhone screen yesterday. It was very small, about the size of a pixel on the iPhone screen. I've had my 16 GB since mid-February.
After I noticed it, I searched MR Forums and came across this thread (yes, someone here actually uses the search option instead of starting a new thread). Seeing that others have had success having their iPhone replaced, I booked an appointment at the Genius Bar in Century City for this past evening.
I showed the genius my iPhone, and without hesitation he told me that they would be happy to replace it right away. So now, I have a bubble-free, scratch-free (bezel), dent-free (from a drop onto concrete- yikes!) new 16 GB iPhone. Old is new again......
Now, if I end up deciding to buy the new iPhone that is rumored to come out next week, I have a brand new iPhone to sell instead of a scratched-up one. Good timing little bubble!
