The rMB kb is borderline unusable for me. Ended up picking up a thinkpad yoga just for the keyboard. I’m an author and when you’re typing 12000 words a day on average you need a keyboard your fingers can dance with.
In my opinion the rMB KB is a very good "dance partner". You need to get used to it, but once you allow yourself a few weeks for that process, you really start to appreciate the preciseness and short travel of those keys and find all other keyboards kind of vague and imprecise.

You just need to "dance" softly and carefully, as the rMB keys require significantly less force for a press. Being used to a "normal" keyboard, in the beginning you will use far too much force for a keypress on the rMB, leading to fatigue and irritation quickly.

My experience was that - once I got used to it - I eventually typed faster on the rMB keyboard than on other keyboards.

I just upgraded from the 9.7” iPad Pro to the 10.5”. Many Youtube-ers, CNET, etc. would argue that my decision was superfluous and rooted only in having to get the latest toy. I have read some opinions that the 10.5” 2017 Pro is a relatively minor upgrade from the previous 9.7” model. I strongly beg to differ. The screen size is ~20% larger in a form factor that is very similar to the Air 2/Pro 9.7”. You will really, truly notice and love that. Being in grad school presently and using this as my go-to device, I was looking for something with a little more screen real estate without sacrificing an excellent “in your hands” tablet experience. Also, the Pro-motion 120 Hz refresh is...almost perfection! It blows away everything else, including the OLED of my iPhone X (in my opinion). The OLED feels more like an evolutionary improvement relative to the insane display performance of the new iPad Pros. The content seems almost to follow your fingers fluidly through space rather than scroll. It is next gen. Finally, the upgrade from two Gb of RAM to four means that web pages and other open apps do not need to reload when multitasking. For me, that is a huge productivity boon.

My advice? Go ahead and take the leap now. It is an amazingly powerful productivity device. Oh, and definitely spring for the LTE version. Once you do, you can never go back.

iPad Pro 10.5” 256 GB LTE with pencil and Smart Keyboard
iPhone X 256 Gb
iPad Air 32 Gb WiFi (for kid visitors and the coffee table)
iMac 27” 4K late 2014 model
Apple TV 4th Gen
Apple Watch Gen 0 sapphire
HomeKit Smart Home

Having just made the jump from Air 2 to 10.5” Pro, I couldn’t agree more. The size increase is noticeable & Pro motion is great. The iPad has replacement my laptop for everything besides software engineering work.

[/ QUOTE]

Scusa, il chip A11x è più veloce contro A10x?
Aspetto il tablet Ipad pro A12x

If someone already has some sort of an iPad, I would say to hold on till the 2018 iPad Pro releases.
Depends on the current iPad model in use and what deals are available for the Pro. I don't think I can tolerate using anything older than Air 2 on iOS 11. Besides, we still don't know when exactly the new Pro models will drop. Could be March, could be June, could even be November.

Looks like the same time it happened last time of the year which is WWDC in June-2018 for the iPad Pro !
[doublepost=1516904602][/doublepost]Could be either of these two designs ?

I’m really surprised if the rumors hold true that we’re getting yet another screen size/form size if they’re going bezelless so soon after creating the 10.5. I did the 10.5 last year and am really happy with it. It will be interesting to see where apple takes it next but I feel like I’m set for years with my 10.5 (and brydge keyboard)

yes, i dont think apple wants this...so i think the display sizes will remain

Looking at the rumored iPhone screen sizes in 2018, I don’t think you can say the above with any certainty. I think screen sizes will probably change once they adopt bezel-less OLED screens.

I’m also tempted by the 10” iPP, but will wait for the 2018 to be released anyway and then make the call - the Air 2 is running flawlessly on 11.2.5 as a bonus.

OLED will not come in 2018 !!! so, the displays will remain the same 10.5" and 12.9" so, with the same resolutions

Well, I can understand the pain of using an older device an older iPad especially something which is earlier than iOS 11.x as it is really a pain in the a** it really is, I myself am sailing in the same boat. But having said that, unless someone has that kind of some extra disposable income to invest in an iPad right now and get a hit on the resale amount when trying to resell it later in the year and then again invest in a new device that is a different case, but someone who only upgrades every couple of years, right now if someone who already has an iPad even if it is not running iOS 11.x and is an older device, I think investing and saving money in the 2018 iPad Pro would be a much much wiser decision, I know it is a suffering for somedays..but as they say it is for a better tomorrow, a better future. :)

They can keep the same screen size and resolution but add Face ID and remove the Home button while making the device smaller so the overall size of the 12.9" and 10.5" iPad Pro comes down a bit.

I’m guessing only the 10.5 will get the X treatment (at least at first) and will be a separate model (won’t necessarily replace the current 10.5).

Point is will it be possible on a screen like the 12.9 inch iPad Pro the Face Id ? I am talking about, and the removal of home button. Well even if it doesn't come on the 12.9" iPad I care a little lol ! As long as it comes on the 10.5" iPad Pro X which is what I will buy :)
