I ordered the Iphone 12 Pro I think I might wait for the pro max for the extra screen size and a bit better camera image stabilization.
iPhone 12 Pro silver wasn’t available nationwide for pickup or in store reservations it seems from the Apple Store
i was thinking about Pro Max, but size just seems a bit too much for my taste
It was $12.49 CAD during Prime Days, but mysteriously went up afterwards

I was logged in just after 8. I went for the 12 Pro 256 in Blue. It failed to go though and I had to close the app and try again. Once again it wasn’t going through and was giving me a shipping address error. I closed the app and lost the Friday delivery and got a delivery date a few days later. I was bummed out as I lost release day and then I checked my email and had two phones ordered?? One on the Friday and one the following week. I was able to cancel the other order so now I’m getting it delivered on launch day after all!

Tried right at 8 EST and they opened the store around 8:03. i had “saved” the phone configuration so it was a quick checkout, but it was stock on the Apple Pay step. The damn button didn’t do anything. So I used the browser and had to use enter my credit card info, but still managed to grab an oct 23 delivery date.

is it me or did they have the leather folio cases on the Apple site on Tuesday? I can’t see them anymore. I ordered a cheap silicon dark blue case from Amazon for protection until I can get a decent case (I like the otterbox Strada, but no available locally yet)

Ordered 128GB 12 Pro in blue. Got the order in at 8:05, but I opted for in store pickup at 8:15 on 23rd. Don’t want to play the UPS waiting game. I gave my green 11 pro to my mom 2 weeks ago and have been using her SE 1 since then. Can’t wait to get rid of it lol.
I’ve always had the silicone cases for my iPhones but this year I’m thinking to go clear so that I can see the colour of the phone for a change. Are the clear ones either Apple or non apple a rubbery material or are they a hard plastic that can crack etc?
Techically both.
The rubbery plastic cases are made out of TPU. They Can be thin but will eventually yellow.
The hard plastic are polycarbonate. They are tough but can scratch and are hard to take them on and off.
General question about in store pickup. I know you need to enter your credit card when ordering, but can you end up paying in store? I have some non-Apple gift cards for Cadillac Fairview I’d like to use to pay, but this won’t work if they charge me ahead? I did a same day ISPU/reservation before and wasn’t charged until picking up. not sure if it’s different for preorders.
This is why I did the “reserve in store” instead. No payment is required til pickup.
Reserve the phone instead. Follow the link I highlighted in red in the store app or store web page.
Sorry, I should have made myself clearer. I ordered the iPhone for delivery, but the ISPU would be for an iPad. I know this is an iPhone thread, but thought it would be similar. I checked the iPad order page on Apple.ca and don’t see an option to reserve instead of order.
I’m guessing they’re not expecting them to be selling out as fast as the iPhones. But with those releasing the same day as the 12/Pro, it’s going to be a zoo.

The wallet you ordered is shipping at the same time as your iPhone? Which delivery dates did you get for both? I ordered two iPhone 12 Pros and two wallets the moment the store went live, wallets immediately showed a delivery date of Nov 4-12 while the iPhones had launch day delivery.
In my experience, they will likely not go to Preparing for Shipping until Monday. Then show as shipped as of Wednesday at the earliest.
What they seem to do is ship pallets of the phones to the distribution centers for each country and then ship them individually from there.
