Anybody in Vancouver confirm we'll be able to pick up our orders on Friday with the new Covid rules announced yesterday? Seems like stores aren't being affected, but just want to make sure

checked earlier today and my order changed to "Preparing to Ship"... can anyone track their order using ups?

You're good.

Funny enough - you cannot invite a friend into your house for dinner - but you can go to a store with all strangers and interact and buy stuff 🤣

Restaurants are still open etc, so are the malls (I'm in Richmond) so the Apple store is all good - yours too I'm sure :)

Where are we all expecting the phones to ship from?

Usually, it's UPS from China but this time the same?

My wife pre-ordered the iphone 12 pro max (and 3 cases) on release day, and her bank blocked her credit card for fraud that evening. Upon checking her credit card, she noticed that 4 withdrawal pre-authorizations were made, and that the amounts did not match the amounts that were indicated on her invoice. After calling Apple, they confirmed from their end those amounts and reassured her that it "happens" sometimes that you are overcharged for pre-authorization, and that the amounts would be refunded once the order was completed.

Today, in a further twist, my wife received 3 text messages from a local number (for 3 cases that were already shipped), stating the following, and containing a sketchy link that requests credit card information: "Apple delivery notice: Dear (HER NAME), your order has shipped. There is a fee of 3.50$ that requires payment before delivery. To pay, follow: (link)”. The link is a fake, it asks for credit card information as well as date of birth…..

Wondering what is going on with Apple? If their system has been compromised? Has anyone experienced this?

It seems rather strange. We have never had this issue, and wife ordered on her macbook pro (which is not compromised in any way that we know of), and using a secure connection.

How do I see it on the app ? I have mychoice
It will just show up once UPS receives the info. Says "details not yet available" at this point and I haven't been able to get tracking through the website either, but it generally will appear sometime on the same day.

This is insane? Is there any mention of that fee in her apple store order history? And call apple if there is any kind of delivery fee? If not, I would say it is something related to her laptop or her apple account as no one else has faced any such issues. Turn on two-factor authentication and change passwords too.
