Well the regular 12/12 pro didn't ship until the Thurs, so I'm guessing this will be the samewhen are they gonna ship this phone
Same here, I think it will be like this until we pickup. Apple status will remain in processing till late Thursday.
US orders from Apple.com are able to see there UPS tracking but I have not been able to do the same yet. I ordered at 8:02 on Friday and have a Friday delivery.My charge dropped off as well... nothing in ups.. few years you could track your phone from China by using your phone number or order number through ups.. I know ppl on Apple.com are able to do that.. not sure why you Can’t this year..
Nope. I'm thinking because it has to go from China into the US as one shipment and clear customs, then a completely new shipment to Canada and clear customs again, it won't show up on UPS until it's on it's second shipment. Everyone in the US can see it because it's a single shipment (essentially) staying within the country. Just a guess. That, and I have searched everything I can on UPS My Choice for reference numbers and have found NOTHING.
I've had several launch-day orders with Apple's Canada store in the last few years, the watch series 6 most recently, and normally the orders show up in UPS My Choice shortly after the label is created and I can track the order on its way from China. It always seems the US and Canadian orders are sent out at the same time and are on the same UPS flights.
I ordered the 12 Pro Max and a case as soon as the store came back online last Friday and got my confirmation email at 08:04 AM ET.
The case arrived today via FedEx and the shipment originated in Newark, New Jersey on Monday morning (yesterday morning).
The 12 Pro Max has been "Preparing to Ship" since Saturday and I do find it a little odd that I haven't seen anything show up in UPS My Choice yet... it seems like the US orders have been shipping out for a while now. I'm curious whether Apple might be trying a different shipping strategy? Maybe they're using FedEx for the phones as well? (I'm only speculating because I don't think I've seen any Canadian orders with UPS tracking numbers yet)

I was always able to track my Apple.com order on UPS long before getting the shipping information from Apple, but this year I can’t get UPS to show anything. I have a Friday delivery still and have been preparing to ship for 48 hours.My charge dropped off as well... nothing in ups.. few years you could track your phone from China by using your phone number or order number through ups.. I know ppl on Apple.com are able to do that.. not sure why you Can’t this year..
Maybe there’s less Max /Mini orders, so the shipments are on a different route than the 12s/12 Pro for example?
Ordered iphone 12 pro max PB 256gb got confirmation email at 8:01am EST (apple.ca) shipping to brampton ontario, got charged right away and been preparing to ship since sunday morning. I have nothing from ups by reference or showing up in my choice. I can confirm though apple is using FEDEX for some people a few of my friends who ordered IPHONE 12 pro in October are getting it with fedex and ups.
Interesting re: FedEx. In all the years I’ve received an iPhone on launch day, it’s always been with UPS.
Same here but i guess to help out since a lot more people are doing online shopping now due to this pandemic apple may have partnered with fedex as well, i dont know how to do a reference type of tracking thru fedex maybe someone here does and could shine some light on it for us. I just hope our phones come for friday.
there’s an option to on their website. Though trying to look up my phone number as a reference lands me on some random parcel that is available for clearance in Winnipeg since October 9th, so that’s not much use.
Always had a launch day phone on time, so i suspect it will be the same this year. I tried to mess around with the FedEx site but had no luck. I suspect the next update on our orders will be the shipping info from Apple after clearing customs in Louisville or Memphis depending on carrier.
Different for Canadian orders but apparently not for US orders based on the other forum. Regardless, it will arrive on Friday.
