I looked at last year's thread and those who ordered their iPhone 12's had theirs delivered from Apple's warehouse in Concord, ON. Not sure if it's gonna be the case for us this time around, but it's highly likely.
This was the case for my 12 Pro Max last year. Nothing showed up on UPS until Thursday and it made the flight from Concord, ON to Vancouver, BC, and then across to Victoria, BC and arrived by early morning on launch day and onto the truck for delivery that day.

Just got a tracking number in the UPS app. "Shipment Ready for UPS" with no scans yet. Delivery for Friday, September 24th.

Interesting. If you’re getting tracking information this early, it could be yours is coming from China this time. Meanwhile, nothing is showing for me in the UPS app yet.

Origin scan in ZhengZhou, China at 1250pm on Sept 20th. So yes, looks like it’s coming from China direct this time, which is the same as my 11 Pro Max did.

This is an interesting data point. When did you place your order? Is it coming from within Canada or directly from China?
Order place at 5:03 PST last Friday on Pre Order morning. Looks like it’s coming from China this time. Assume based on iPhone 11 Pro Max pre order a couple years ago when it came from China that it will go to Anchorage, Alaska next and then onto Louisville, KY and then for us on the west coast it went to Seattle and then Vancouver.

These are the scans so far. Hoping fellow Canadian can see them soon too.

For those who’ve preordered iPhones in past years, do Canadian preorders ship from China via UPS like US ones? Or do they typically ship a day or so before launch day and come from a warehouse instead?
Prior to Iphone 12, it would def be from China and UPS updates would be able to be seen on the My Choice UPS app.

Last year, those updates couldnt be seen. The first notice on the MYUPS app was when the phone was in Canada. I think it was Concord, On. And that was on the Wednesday. So likely did come from China, but we just couldnt see that info as in past years.

I feel like it will be the same this year.

Yes, I can vouch for the fact that for the last two years my phone shipped on the Thursday and arrived on the Friday (to Toronto). So don’t panic if you don’t see the China voyage this week.

The phones will already have arrived in Canada as one large shipment by early this week at one of the warehouses where they will receive individual scans on Thursday once they are put on the planes for their destination airports.

Yep same here—phone has shipped and is currently in ZhengZhou.

If anyone talks to paybright can you do me a solid and ask them if they report to the bureaus/will the financing show as a trade line on peoples credit report?

these jokers are impossible to reach.

I still haven’t received tracking for mine yet, and I’m guessing there are many others in the same boat. So it looks like some are coming directly from China while others will ship from a warehouse later this week.

I got my order confirmation email at 5:02am, there's still no tracking information available. Guessing it's going to "ship from" somewhere within the country later this week.

Got a response from Paybright.
It’s good news. Only a soft check (as previously confirmed in this thread) and they don’t report to the credit bureau so no new trade lines.

So these financing agreements should have zero impact on your credit (assuming you aren’t stupid and default on the agreement).

Greater Vancouver Area. Charge is pending on my Amex Statement. Progress is at "preparing to ship". Not sure how to check with UPS yet though?

I am guessing they are already in Concord, ON and will ship out from there tomorrow or Thursday.

For those who purchased through paybright for you preorder what is your status in the apple app?
