So it definitely seems like it's an Apple issue, not Paybright. I believe Paybright just charges us whatever Apple tells them to. Hence, Apple is the one who is improperly calculating taxes with trade-in orders, regardless if Paybright is involved or not.
Is it because of the bad experience you had? I know when I got my 13 pro thought them it was such a hassle and a lot of follow up emails to get everything sorted out properly. I think it is just easier to buy it outright.

Yeah, last year their systems pretty much crashed and ended up causing the Apple orders to cancel, resulting in losing the original ship date. Plus, there’s no more 0% financing option anymore. This year I’ll be buying the 15 outright.
