I have two iPhone XS Max on order, both 256 G. If I like the gold one then i’ll keep it and either return or sell the silver one unopened. If any of you want to buy it from me I’d be happy to sell it at my cost.

No dice in Newmarket. I just got here and even though I had my reservation confirmation barcode they can’t honour it. They said they had a mix up in the shipments and they didn’t get them in. They told me they received no 256GB space grey Max at all so everyone will be in the same boat. They are hoping to have some info on when the shipment will arrive a little later this morning. I’m coming back at 11am and they should know if it’s on the truck for today, which would arrive at 1pm.

I did get a walk in for the watch though so at least I’ll have something to play with. I’m coming back at 11 for the watch and hopefully some good news about my Max.

Date has been changed to tentative. Weirdly enough the arrival scan was in Mississauga after having left Louisville before. Usually GTA shipments are sent to Concord.

I’m getting one delivered in the GTA btw. Looks like it may be related to the delay everyone with in store pick up is facing.

That’s frustrating. Hopefully they arrive at the store today.

What’s really annoying me is that I first accidentally placed an order for shipping and then canceled it the next morning. If I had left it I’d at least have one coming from UPS.
 
I got the same e-mail. Was picking my iPhone up in Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket. I also had a separate “reserve and pickup” reservation. They emailed me yesterday with a barcode and stuff to pick it up but now it’s not showing under my reservations in the app. I don’t know what’s going on but I hope they will give me one of the two.

Edit: The reserve to pickup showed up again and says “your reservation is confirmed”. Now I don’t feel so crazy so ordering 2 iPhones, just in case.
Well you made me frantically look at my email since my pickup is in Newmarket, all good though

Unfortunately, due to some last minute logistical issues, your order will not be ready for pickup during your check-in time.

Problem is I’ll be driving for two hours to get it. Do you guys think they will have it end of day or I should wait until Monday.

It took my phone 12 hours to get from Alaska to Kentucky yesterday. Sounds like there’s a logistics problem somewhere.

Despite having just departed from Sioux City, SD, UPS is now back to claiming my phone will be delivered to Edmonton today.

Never going to happen, IMHO.

Plenty of stock at Fairview store. Only 15 people in line. Walked in at 8 for in store pick up. Walked out at 8:15 with XS Max, 256GB, SG. Not much stock of Watch.
 
Oh man, that is nuts that there were so many issues. Looking at other threads there was weather issues in the US but most of them resolved. Mine is coming today via CP...

Iphone Xs Max - showing delivery by end of day 9/21 - had a departure scan OUT of Concord, On this AM at 7:04am.

Apple watch - showing delivery by end of day 9/21 - had a departure scan OUT of Mississauga, On this am at 8:09am.

None are showing "Out for delivery yet." They are just showing "In Transit."

I am located in Mississauga.

I had 2 reservations. One was a pick up order that I paid for online and the other was a reservation where you pay in store. I got an email this morning that the paid for order was delayed, but the other one was still showing “reservation confirmed”. I even had a barcode and a pass in my Apple Wallet for it. They said they had none in store so they couldn’t do anything. I was second in line and an hour early for my reservation.

Yup. I was only one of 4 people who had reservations. Rest were walk ups. They said they had plenty.
I tried calling the store and they aren’t answering. It’s a 40 minute drive with traffic so I’d hate to get there and they sell out. Weird that they had tons of stock while other store with paid for orders had none.
 
Well, the courier (intelcom) has officially lost my case from amazon. So now when I get my phone I won't be touching it until I get a new one :( I'm too much of a klutz to risk it! Sadly, I might have to brave the apple store to see if they have any cases in stock - I was hoping to get something a little cheaper since I'm planning on getting some fun ones from redbubble in a couple weeks and this one was just temporary. Hard to justify a $55 case for temporary.

Markville has NONE and probably won’t have any till Monday According to sales person in the store. For the watch they said later today. (Really pissed off).

Apple should let you return a case for 14 days. My partner did it before. Got the case, didn’t like it and returned it for a full refund. The Apple stores usually have a ton of cases in stock. Also Best Buy usually has some third party cases on launch days.
