This DFU is really killing me. The minute I hold the power button for 3 seconds the apple logo pops up. then I press the volume down for 10 seconds the screen turns black and I count 5 seconds and let go, after 2 seconds the apple logo pops up and takes me back to the homescreen

Have the phone on.
Hold the power button for 3 seconds, then start holding the volume down button as well.
Once the iPhone goes black, wait a couple of seconds and let go of the power button. Keep the vol down pressed.
iTunes should then pop up and offer to restore

I'm going to apple store tomorrow. this sucks
You're 100% sure you're on DFU?
DFU has nothing on the iPhone/iPad display when you've done it. If you see the iTunes logo, you're doing it wrong.

This is what DFU mode looks like.. if you see restore and update then you are not in DFU mode.

Finally got my iPad Pro 10.5" back to 10.3.2 - DFU restored down to 10.3.3 beta 4, then from there to 10.3.2. Thanks to everyone who offered advice!

Gotta go from iOS 11 beta2 to beta 1
then from beta 1 to IOS 10.3.3 beta 4
then finally if you want then IOS 10.3.2.

Just disable "Find my iPhone" and go into DFU mode, shift button to find the downloaded iOS 11 Beta 1 IPSW and restore your phone.

This actually helped and was able to downgrade. I managed to downgrade to 10.3.3 and right now its just in the set up stage. Thank you I think I'm gonna be ok for now........I'm back to 10.3.3 but need to install my back up.
A word to the wise: BACK UP YOUR FILES BEFORE INSTALLING ANY UPDATES ( some updates or downgrades will say "without losing data" don't take any chances and just do a quick back up before doing any updates or downgrades)

Looking for IOS 11.0 beta 1 ipsw for iPad Pro 10.5
Beta 1 is hard to find and if you do find it, its a long download to your computer.

I also have this problem when I install iOS 11 Beta and my iPhone 7 cannot start. When I downgrade to iOS 10.3.2 with iTunes, it stuck in recovery mode again. After tried several times to downgrade 10.3.2, I giveup and found another tool to do the job. If you just want to fix the recovery mode loop, you can just use some kind of freeware to do that, it's easy.

I tried those tools like tinyumbrella and it didn't work at all.

I HAVE NO IDEA why people still keep this. This is how u do it. THE ONLY WAY:

From 11b2 to 11b1 then from 11b1 to 10.3.3b4 and from there to 10.3.x All of these in dfu mode. NOT RECOVERY MODE
