Had the same issue. Should have read this thread before upgrading. Downgraded to beta 1 and then back to 10.3.3 beta 4 and all good now. I think it's time I say goodbye to betas. Not worth the headaches.

I updated to iOS 11 beta 2 today from iOS 10.3.2 on an 10.5 iPad Pro. When I go to downgrade to 10.3.2, I get stuck in recovery mode. That is, everything installs fine, the firmware is verified by iTunes, the iPad restarts, the white Apple logo flashes, but then it quickly goes to recovery mode with the lightening cable and iTunes logo.

I was able reinstall iOS 11 beta 2 and boot up. When I went to downgrade again, same recovery mode loop.

Anyone else have this issue? I want to get back to 10.3.2, but can't seem to do so.

I get the same problem and finally fix the recovery mode stuck with ReiBoot.

Download IOS 11 Developer beta 1
Download IOS 10.3.2

Iphone 7(plus) DFU-mode:
Open itunes
Connect your iPhone with USB cable
Switch off your iPhone
Now press power button
After 3 seconds additionally press Volume down and keep both buttons pressed for 10 seconds
After 10 seconds release the power button and keep Volume down pressed for another 5 seconds
Now you should be in DFU-mode and select the IOS 11 beta 1 IPSW-file you downloaded before by pressing shift (Windows PC) + restore-button in itunes

After its been installed do the same with the IOS 10.3.2 IPSW-file

Finally got rid of this mess...I followed Arni99 tutorial and it worked like a charm! Thanks buddy and everyone for your post!

I will never ever touch a developer beta again...I will just wait for the public release :D
And as I see on the internet there are 2 versions for 10.3.2 : 14F89 and 14F90, the last one might the one which runs on the latest ipad pros?

SumYoungGai gave me the best advice and it worked:

iTunes should be up and running while doing these steps:
1. While your phone is connected to your computer
2. (phone is on) press the power button and hold 3 secs
3. After 3 secs while still holding down the power, press the down volume down for 10 secs.
4. The phone screen should be black, let go the power button
5. Then let go the volume down button ( phone screen should be black, if not, keep doing the same steps)
6. The computer: iTunes should have a message saying that your phone needs to be restored

you should have downloaded your ipsw file (10.3....)
7. When you're ready to restore: hold down the option key and click restore. A window should pop up for you to find your file click on it to open it and from there let it do its thing.

P.S. if you still see your apple logo or the connect to iTunes logo then you did it wrong. You will need to do the steps over again until the screen it black and that restore window pops up. This will be DFU.

Never ever ever ever will I touch a developer beta! This mess is keeping me from doing anything the entire morning.

The main problem: I can not find the 11 beta 1 ipsw for the new 10.5 iPad. Have been looking for a few hours now. So I guess I am stuck on 11 beta 2 for now.

I was able to downgrade my iPad from the beta 1 back to 10.3 easier than my iPhone. What I did was went on YouTube and find videos on 11.0 and they usually have a link to the ipsw file.

I can't downgrade back to iOS 3.3.2 :( But ok! I dont have a developer account so can't use the iOS 3.3.3 Beta 4 either.
Have allso try this iOS 11 beta 2 ---> iOS beta 1 ---> iOS 3.3.2

Encounter same issue here can't revert from iOS 11 Beta 2 back to iOS 10.3.2
Recovery Loop. I can confirm that you can skip iOS 10.3.3 Beta.

iOS 11 Beta 2 (DFU) --> iOS 11 Beta 1 (DFU) --> iOS 10.3.2 (DFU)

I downloaded the version iPhone_7_ 11.0 _15A5304i_Restore. ipsw to try to restore the handset, but when I'm going to restore itunes says my device is not compatible with the firmware. Somebody help me.

Model: iphone 7 A1778 128GB.

what ios version you want to download? 11 beta 1 or beta2

It is easily possible to revert to 10.3.2 von Beta 2 directly in DFU mode - not recovery mode. Thats what I did after all. But thanks to everyone for the download links to Beta 1

I HAVE NO IDEA why people still keep this. This is how u do it. THE ONLY WAY:

From 11b2 to 11b1 then from 11b1 to 10.3.3b4 and from there to 10.3.x All of these in dfu mode. NOT RECOVERY MODE

That's not the only way. I went from 11B2 to 11B1 to 10.3.2 IPSW. I have heard others go straight from 11B2 to 10.3.2. I think it's a trial and error, depends on your computer read/write speed and also on some variables with the device itself.

Don't any of you people read Apple's warning before installing? It clearly states that you may not be able to downgrade once you have installed the Developer beta. It should be no surprise that this kind of thing is happening.

If you need your device for real time use, don't install Develpper betas unless you are willing to pay the consequences.

That warning has been on every iOS beta for years now and this has never happened. I still think this is a bug and future betas will be back to normal.

I just wanted to confirm what someone posted yesterday. I was stuck on 11 B2. Tried DFU and recovery to no avail. Trying to download 11 B1 was a nightmare! What did work...

1. Enter DFU
- plug in iPhone/iPad. No need to power down at this point. Just move on to next step.
- hold power and volume down until screen turns black or 7 seconds whichever is longer
- once time elapses let go of power and continue to hold volume down until iTunes states found device in recovery
- if Apple logo pops up or iTunes with lightning cable, it didn’t work properly. Repeat steps 2 and 3

2. Download iOS 10.3.3 IPSW
- I found mine by googling “10.3.3 ipsw download” (iPod hacks)

3. Force restore downloaded ipsw
- hold alt (option) key if on Mac (I believe it is shift on windows but not 100%) while simultaneously clicking restore
- select the location you downloaded the ipsw to
- let it do its thing and voila. You’ll be on 10.3.3 at which point you can go back to 10.3.2 or God-forbid iOS 11 again lol

Good luck! I know it was a headache for me getting to this point, but I saved myself a trip to Apple. #lessonlearned
