I tested my native union usb a to usb c cable in my vehicle and it works so far without any hiccups. I plan to hold onto this car for a long while so I hope the iPhone doesn’t go portless any time soon.

I used my ps5 controller cable I had laying around …usb a to c. Works perfectly in my 2015 genesis car play.

I was worried after some of the early reports, so ordered 3 different cables from Amazon. All worked fine. I really prefer wired CarPlay for our van--where we are talking 8 to 12 hour drives with navigation.

For my car, where we are talking 20-30 minute drives, I use the Carplay2Air wireless adapter. Very consistent performance over the last 3 years.

Just noticed today that the forward/rewind buttons on my steering wheel are randomly not working with my 15P. Never had that issue with the 14P and also everything else is working perfectly fine.

Strange.
