iPhone Carplay broken in iOS 13 beta 2?

Yep i'm having that issue as well, strangely it worked fine for a day after updating to the new public beta before it actually stopped working. I've reverted to Google Maps in the meantime.
Interestingly i tried Apple Maps in the car yesterday and its started working again, used it this morning for 3 different routes and it was fine as well.
CarPlay finally sorta broke a little for me yesterday. When trying to start a route in the full sized Maps screen, it "crashes" to the dashboard view and doesn't start the route. Routing only worked in the dashboard view and only if I (obviously) started it from my phone.) Hoping PB5 fixes that today.
I had that issue last week, i updated to the last PB and it worked fine the next day but then the day after it was doing as you say above. Left it and then i tested it a few days later and it had started working again. No idea what had caused it but dont think the betas were actually to blame as it worked fine initially and was fixed without any update.
DP6 has borked Waze again... I can see the Waze controls, but otherwise, it's just a white screen.
And even Apple Maps seems so "washed out", color-wise.

I’m on Beta 6 and for the last few betas when am using Apple Maps when in CarPlay it sends turn by turn drop down notifications to my phone screen even though I have every possible notification turned off for maps.
I have maps up on my car play screen so I don’t need notifications on my phone. Anyone else have this issue?

I am driving a 2020 BMW 3-Series with wireless CarPlay. The issue is:
CarPlay itself is working finde, but I can’t use any of the steering wheel controls (skip song, accept call etc.).
i am pretty sure these used to work. Could this be due to iOS 13??

I know this isn't particularly helpful - but yours might be a semi-isolated case. I'm not seeing this on B6 on an XS. Everything is working fine.
You don't get Map Notifications on (When using turn by turn directions) on your iphone screen when hooked up to car Play and you're using another app on your phone?
When I downloaded PB1 the album artwork was displayed on the now playing screen, then a few weeks later without even updating to a new beta it just stopped displaying it. Funny fact is that I tried my phone on a different car yesterday and it does show it there but not on my car. I wonder if is the carmaker who is restricting it.

There is now a setting in CarPlay’s new settings app that controls this. Perhaps it’s switched off for your car?
I tell you one thing after all the updates the Amazon App for CarPlay sucks. Plays the wrong songs, doesn't play at all, freezes. Not working very well for me.
On settings I don't have the option to show art album cover, it's missing. Also on the dashboard I don't see on the right side the third row with suggestions, even though is selected on settings.
I installed B8 and tried it out on a 6 hour drive today. What a disaster! One time I had the map turn into a pixelated mess, the navigation directions stopped at least 5 or 6 times, the titles of the songs said "No title". All of these fixed themselves by unplugging and plugging the phone back in.
