Alright doing this and the how to is clear cut, add the source and install CommCenter Hack.
But says it'll crash the phone on the reboot though? My wife wants me to ask cause she thinks theres a misunderstanding. (More so I'm not up all tonight fixing this lmao)
She also wants me to be sure that a U.S. ATT phone uses the ATT Mobility patch?

Doesn't crash the phone but yes on the ATT carrier file

Has the Sprint issue been resolved yet? I don't see any updates on the iTweakiOS site. Anyone heard from the developer?

Question will the person hosting this site be updating it with further betas? I'd love keeping ahead of everyone coverage-wise (plus the tweaks it makes )

Huh, did everything (CommCenter install) I can't get the terminal command to work in MTerminal. I keep getting command not found, when running it.
Otherwise, I keep getting iTunes asking me to turn off the phone to restore when holding shift+restore. Never done this so I'll admit, I'm lost lol

You run the terminal command in Terminal in OS X, not on the phone itself.

I'm curious, can I just take my old/default carrier file and save "ATT_US.bundle", place it in a folder labeled "Payload" and then zip it in a file named ATT_US.ipcc or anything like ATT_US_original.ipcc and then install it the same way I just did this?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, just used to theming and the basics of iOS. I've never ventured into this area of the iOS lol.

With the commcenter patch, I think that can be done

Without it, I think by doing what you just did, it changes the MD5 hash of the ipcc file or whatever is used to verify that it is a legit carrier package and it won't go through

I thought so, just thought I'd ask before assuming. Thanks.

Tried this with the new O2 beta link. Doesn't seem to upgrade. Started on 18.0 and does not change despite the quick itunes screen saying updating settings when i choose the file.
I have run the command in terminal and downloaded the cydia tweak.

Am I missing something? Looked through the thread over and over

But I think I'm going to update to 8.1.1. WiFried isn't fixing my issues and my battery is draining quick on my 6+.
Any idea if the CommCenter patched ipcc carries over after the update?
This is my first time so I'm curious if I need to do anything.

8.1.1 doesn't look like it will fix your issues either, just to throw that out there. Also, you won't maintain the carrier settings as I lost mine during my update to 8.1.

That sucks but I guess I can hope it does fix the stuck keyboard at least.
As for the carrier, I guess I'll just install it again after jbing 8.1.1. Figured it was worth checking in case

I keep hearing a lot about the keyboard improvement too. That's why I want to try 8.1.1, but I may just wait until 8.2.

When I get to the part of hitting shift-restore,the only option I have is to open a IPSW file, don't have the option to find a IPCC file??Stuck at this point, would it possibly have something to do with the fact itunes wants me to upgrade to 8.1.1?

Go back to the instructions and you will see you have type a command in terminal to allow for you to add the IPCC file. You have to do this on both windows and Mac. That should do the trick though. Oh and I just noticed you clicked restore. I clicked update.
