The initial post says AdGuard for Safari works. For me it doesn’t. Can’t start properly when launching. I tried reinstalling it.

Any tips on a how to make it work or is the information in the initial post wrong?

AdGuard works great for me. Are you using the system-wide standalone app or the safari extension?

Ring Central is working perfectly for me now with the latest update of macOS and Ring Central Meetings. FYI for anyone impacted

Wow, thanks! Can you please give me the version number for RCM? Also, what build of MacOS Catalina are you running? Thanks again, this is great to hear - maybe I can at last start testing Catalina.

I'm using the Safari extension since I have a VPN app and from what I understand the system-wide app therefore isn’t compatible.

Now, I found and downloaded the latest version from AdGuards website, but the zip file won’t extract. The extraction progress bar gets stuck all the time ...

Working:
Logic Pro X
Addictive Keys
BASSalicious 2
iZotope RX7 Audio Editor

Working but acting strange:
Kontakt Player
IPVanish

Not Working:
Ableton Live 10
Nord Sound Manager
OpenDNS Updater

I got in touch with Clavia about the Nord software a few weeks ago, and the response was surprising. The official U.S. Nord keyboards technical support rep, a guy named Pablo Mastodon, said all of Sweden likes to take the entire month of July off for vacation, so he didn't have an answer beyond saying that he was "sure" that Clavia is on the case. Of course, the Nord Keyboards web site says nothing about the Mac apps being 32-bit or acknowledging that the Nord software is woefully behind the times. Nord keyboard owners in the Nord User Forum do not share any of my frustration with Clavia's resistance to migrating to 64-bit Mac apps.

I can't speak to the Safari extension, but I have a VPN running constantly and I use the system-wide app without issue. Just don't enable the settings that run all AdGuard traffic through their own VPN as well.

Anyone use Citrix receiver? Want to make sure it’s workin before I upgrade since I need that for charting at home.

Thank you very much for making me try the system wide app. It works very well with ExpressVPN and now I have AdGuard working with Catalina. Great news for me! Wouldn’t have tried this without your post :)

That's great! Truly glad I could help! :)

Can anyone confirm or deny if Launchbar by Objective Development is working correctly now? I removed it because it wouldn't index any Apple apps. Only 3rd party.

I hove some special Software that won't work on Catalina yet.

  • Code Composer Studio (CCS) 9.1.0 from Texas Instruments
it is 64 Bit but I think the Problem is the change of the system container
  • STM32CubeMX from STmicroelectronics
  • STM32CubeProg from STmicroelectronics

And I can report working on Catalina:
  • STM32CUBEIDE from STmicroelectronics
  • MCUXPpresso from NXP

All that software is not mainstream should I add it to the wiki post or better not?

Logic Pro X is now refusing to open other projects other than my last opened one. Claims it can’t connect to open/save service.

From a fresh account it won’t open at all, stalling at the “Scanning for audio units” dialog.

Hi @All . With my new fresh installation of last DEV, I can not install more programs....

Still can't update apps from the app store.

Apple's suggested it work around is to sign out and back in. So I signed out, and now I'm still signed out and can't sign back. Enter my password, its accepted and just nothing happens.

Is this still working okay for you? I ask because in the RC forums today, I saw a post from someone who said it had been working fine on Catalina and failed on the latest build of Catalina. What's the version number of your RCM client and are you running the latest beta of MacOS Catalina?

I'm sorely tempted - but it would be good to know a bit more if you don't mind sharing. Thanks in advance.

Here's a sledgehammer approach:

Quit the Mac App Store App and in terminal

open $TMPDIR../C/com.apple.appstore/

open ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/

open ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstoreagent/

Delete the contents of all the folders.

Open the Activity Monitor and set its view to All Processes. Type in store to search for App Store related processes, and force-quit all of these daemon processes:
  • storeuid
  • Appstoreagent
  • storedownloadd - Handles downloads of apps found in the App Store.
  • storeinstalld - Covers app installation and their updates.
  • storeassetd - Handles all the resources and language files of the App Store.
  • storeaccountd - In charge of authentication, and acts as a bridge with your Apple ID account.

In terminal:

open ~/Library/Preferences

Here, delete the following files:
  • com.apple.appstored.plist
  • com.apple.storeagent.plist
  • com.apple.preferences.softwareupdate.plist

open ~/Library/Cookies

Delete this file:
  • com.apple.appstore.binarycookies

Choose Apple Menu > Restart.

Open App Store, log back in. Your problems should be gone.

Thanks I've been looking for the sledgehammer approach. Will try it.
