Catalina Apps Working/Not working

Anyone use Citrix receiver? Want to make sure it’s workin before I upgrade since I need that for charting at home.

Not working for me on beta 3. Other posts concur. Using the light version in-browser still works fine though.

Does Google Backup and sync really work for you?
I gave it Full Disk Access and reinstalled it but it does not sync the Drive folder.. Always shows "A synced folder is missing" and even after creating a new folder it says "The folder you selected does not exist"...

Native Access itself is working properly, but it will not properly install all the applications. Every installer fails with an unknown issue. I am unable to update any of the currently installed items, as they also fail with an unknown issue.

Anyone have any trouble running the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC? It currently starts up and starts to load all of the plugins and whatever else it is loading with the startup artwork. But once it gets to "LF Ellipse 64.plugin" it just hangs and stops responding. I have tried to delete it and reinstall it but I still get the same problem. I running Beta 3 and I seem to remember successfully starting Premiere Pro during the earlier betas....

Same with Firefox. I've tried a few versions (I was on Nightly) and they all crash. I've even removed all profile info, done a full uninstall and re-install and nope. Dead. At least the 30 or so attempts at clicking "restart" have sent a load of crash reports to Mozilla

I created an account and logged the issue in something called Bugzilla, Mozilla's bug tracker. I don't like changing browsers on my laptop and I'm currently tutting loads as I try to (re-)adjust to Safari.

Not working: YummyFTP Pro and YummyFTP Watcher. These two apps don't do not even pop into the dock. Entirely broken, which is sad because afaik the developer passed away late last year.

Well, after upgrading to PB4, the issue I was experiencing with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 13.1 is gone. I can successfully launch the app.

Instagram has become a crash-fest in dev beta 5. The app opens for a second then an immediate controlled flight into terrain! Crash!

Bummer. Backblaze is a must. Has anyone else tried it? It should get added to the list of not working.

Yeah, at least it's still backing up my other backups and external drives. I think it's because Catalina creates a second partition for the OS for additional protection. Or something similar. It's wacky that they both show as Macintosh HD. I think it's complaining because it doesn't have rights to write to that partition. I'm sure the gang here could explain how to do it.

Not Working: ESET Internet Suite

Need a recommendation on a free product to use until they get it together. Couldn't even get through the installation of Avira.

It seems to be related to the read-only System volume changes. I was able to get it going again by copying .bzvol from the data volume (I believe it was /System/Volumes/Data or something similar) to /.bzvol. It seems to be working OK for me, but that's not an official solution and I don't know if there could be any unintended side effects.

Time Machine is also broken for me in Catalina-- it just sits there saying "Backing up", but makes no progress.

I thought about that. Are you seeing it backup your primary data volume, just the system partition, or both? Yeah, BackBlaze has not posted anything about it. I'll see if I can email support.

Ok, support notified. I won't hear anything until Monday at the earliest. Will share their response.
