Why does it have to be all or nothing? Is there no merit in reducing reliance on a resource that is environmentally unfriendly, especially when it is for a vanity product? Can there be no discussion on reviewing past practices and how we can adjust our usage without reducing it to "we've always done it so we should continue to do it"? I used to love the older leather cases from a few years ago, but the last couple I bought just didn't age as well or have the same patina. So, I'm ok with going to a different style case. But isn't it a valid argument for apple to try to reduce poor environmental practices where they can, even if they can't in other areas? Half measures are still measures in the right direction.
