does this cover the screen please?

Hi :) I can't figure out if this one covers the screen too, or if it's more like a traditional back-and-sides case.

Sorry if this has been answered already! I did look (on here + searching) but I'm pretty tired so it's entirely possible I missed it - I'd leave it for tomorrow but I need to decide tonights :p

It doesn't cover the front. Not even sure how that would work. The only cases I know that cover the front are those super thick ones.

I had the veil for a while and loved it. However the case started getting loose at the corners, and exposed the chamfered edges. I have since retired the veil and went for powersupport air jacket which I am loving.

You need to contact Caudabe customer support. They're pretty awesome about sending replacements, from personal experience. I tried the power support, but it's just too thick. Once you go super thin, the only alternative is to go naked and I ain't doing that!

Eh, you can switch back and forth... It just takes a brief adjustment time to get fully in the swing.

Not even sure I see the point of constantly switching back and forth between cases, to be honest. I can see switching if you want to try out another case. But, once I choose a case as my "daily driver", I just stick with it until I get sick of it. YMMV

I actually love the powersupport more than the veil. The separation of the veil case from the phone makes it look pretty bad.

That's why I said to give a shot at contacting Caudabe customer support as it sounds like something is wrong with your case. I have both as well and I have no "separation" on my Veil. And they've given me replacements in the past for issues that are way more minor than what it seems you're describing. Literally the only other place where I've have had customer service respond as quickly and as nicely is at an Apple Store. I don't usually get gushy about stuff like this, but they are seriously responsive. No sense getting stuck not liking something you paid for.

I like the PowerSupport as well. I wish the Veil could wrap all four sides. But, like I said the PowerSupport is just too thick. Changes the feel of the phone completely And because of how glossy it is, it gets fingerprints and scratches really easily. I knew all this before I bought it, but it still amazes me how quickly that all happens. And for the price of one PowerSupport, I can almost buy 3 Veils. I get that it's a Japanese product, but holy cow that is a lot of money for the case. I'm a bit of a case addict, but if I had to buy just one case at that price point, I'd rather go with the official Apple case which is made of quality leather.

I have had the case for months. Why go back to it to have this issue again eventually?

I am pretty indifferent to the case at this point. The corners separated from the phone and left the chamfered edges exposed. Dust creeps in. It looks terrible.

I had the leather case but eventually sold it because I didn't like that the lip did not protect the chamfered edges.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I like getting my money's worth. And if I can essentially get two for the price of one by sending an email to customer service, I'm going to do it. Plus, I can't stand thicker cases, so it's either Veil or nothing.

The apple leather case does protect the chamfered edges. i guess technically it doesn't wrap around the edge, but it leaves the edge recessed enough that it's tough to get damaged. the only issue is that it leaves a gap between the case and the edge so that dust can get in. that's what i didn't like about it. that and the fact that was tough to remove.
