Wow they doubled the price on the Sparin. On Amazon I can see both for the 11", the old bad one and the new cutout one. Old one's still on sale for $8.99 (they really should pull it) and the new one is $16.99.

Actually, they both do, and this one clearly has a larger cutout in the photos. I have just ordered it, hoping it works. I really hate not having one on my screen. Ever since one saved the life of my old iPhone 7+, when it flew off the roof of my car, I swear by glass screen protectors. Of course it's a lot less likely I'll leave my iPad on the roof of my car and drive to the gym...
EDIT - actually maybe both listings for the 11" version don't show it as a 2-pack, but both for the 12.9" do, which is what I'm looking at.
ESR 12.9 screen protector works perfectly for me. The only review for this product states that it doesn't work so I was going to return it but I decided to try it for myself anyways.

No problems with Face ID or touch sensitivity. Pencil works fine too. I set up my Face ID without a screen protector and it continues to work flawlessly even after I put it on.

Thanks for the info, really useful. With fingers firmly crossed, have ordered the 11 inch version for international delivery here in the UK to tie in with a planned Black Friday iPad purchase.
I posted yesterday on this, on a 12.9 and the IVSO screen protector. No cutout, no issues. I set up FID with NO protector, but then it works fine without. No issues. I have used this for 10+ hours (certainly better battery than by 3 year old 12.9 IPP that had the battery a little run down!). Maybe this is a 11” only issues? Anyone have an issue with a 12.9 at all?
Also, someone mentioned covering the microphone. What? Which microphone? There are two on the top (in portrait, the flat edge) and one on the back by the camera.

I also think this is somehow more of an 11” issue. I don’t know if the screen is different or something.

I am surprised that the Spigen with no cutouts had no issues....All my other devices have Spigen but this is not yet in the UK either (neither on Spigen's site nor on Amazon UK's sadly)

The Jetech one has not affected sensitivity at all for me... and it’s only very slightly affected Face ID.
Their revised version with a Face ID cutout is expected in a couple of weeks.
Let me know how that goes. I currently have a glass on my 12.9 that covers everything (even cameras), and have no issue with faceid. However, I have noticed a decrease in touch sensitivity which is very annoying. If there is no glass protector that can fix these touch sensitivity issues I guess I will have to go naked.

Have you come across any glass covers that did affect touch sensitivity? I am wondering if this issue is a fault of the glass protectors or of the ipad’s themselves? Maybe only some iPads will have this issue? Hope it is the former and not the latter.

Strange to read about all these issues from so many users trying different brands. I personally got to ESR protector and had zero problems - however from what I am reading now on the local french Amazon is that there are problems only if you misalign the small camera cutout, which is indeed very difficult to get perefeclty aligned. In my case I was just lucky.
Tried that and now it won't even let me reset Face ID. I bought a ESR and a Tethys screen protector. Does not work on either. Any more suggestions?

Which one? I just installed an ESR on my 12.9 and have none of those issues.
Can confirm it works. Just received my order (placed on Wednesday), it works fine with face ID and no sensitivity issue for me(Knock on wood).
Is this the one with one tiny opening for the mic?
The tiny cutout is for the mic, not the camera?
In case it helps, the one that didn’t work for me had a small cutout. I don’t remember Supershieldz offering any with a bigger cutout when I made the purchase a few days ago. There was a matte option, a HD option, and single, double, and triple packs. Some were available immediately and others had an in-stock date of next week.
It looks like the listings have changed a bit; hopefully the ones with the bigger cutouts work! I just picked up the Sparin one since I wanted it sooner.
