Apple Watch 2 will be out before Click at this rate. Can't believe they're still rolling with "The world's first" Apple Watch band adapter.

They should change their tag line to The world's first Apple Watch band adapter that isn't a piece of crap.

At least that is my hope. ;)

My current ones are good!

Granted I've had to use loctite thread locker to keep the screws in place, but they look alright and do the job (now)

... they're 24mm too - look better on a 42 Watch. Click's measly 22mm straps might look a little dodgy

I've had no issues with the adapter with the spring bar I got from ebay and they fit great with no gaps or wiggle:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silver-WatchBand-Adapter-Watch-Band-Connector-Adaptor-For-Apple-iwatch-38mm-42mm/281688911285?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=20131017132637&meid=f9bd2329c4324977a990eca5b14efe6b&pid=100033&rk=1&rkt=4&mehot=pp&sd=281688911285

$18 and took a week to get to me. I've had watches most of my life and spring bars just don't fail, those tiny screws in the other adapters get loose though, found out the hard way the other day :/

Your lucky. I just got today the same adapter you ordered and my adapter had way too much wiggle and gaps. I probably got a bad pair. So I sent the Utica guy a note and hope get another one sent out to me that fits right. Hopefully he will respond soon. I had to wait 5 days since I ordered.

Best of luck! Sure, maybe Click will be more consistent quality-wise, but they're taking way too long.

Yup, click is definitely taking too long. Those china manufacturers are already coming out with the black color versions of their lug and pin style adapters.

Thanks to members like you, I got alerted to this before attaching anything to my tube adapters. So thanks for getting the word out that people need to do more than just screw them into the adapters.

Apple does specify in their Developers Guide for bands and adapters that you need to use a thread locker on the screws (and once removed need to discard the screws btw). Prior to the watch, never knew this stuff even existed. Ordered the purple thread locker (Loctite 222) off of the internet yesterday. Loctite specifies the purple 222 for screw diameters less than 1/4inch/6mm so I decide to use it over the blue version which is intended for larger screws that some are using. Since the thread locker gets applied to the thread portion of the screw, and you have to attach your band before screwing in the pentalobe screws it's not something that can be done at the factory. That is unless adapter and band are sold together. I have the pin style adapter as well but do really like the look of the tube version for certain bands. BTW paid around $7.20 for the Loctite off Amazon.

Back to Click, if I had the aluminum Sport Watch, I would be interested in their product although I agree the smaller band size (22mm) especially for the 42mm Watch might be more noticeable. They've changed their design from the beginning so wonder if the final product will use the 22mm band or the 24mm like everyone else. Kind of hard to believe they would develop something that would use a band small than Apple's own.

I'm still waiting on Click. Nobody else seems to have a true space grey, and black just isn't going to cut it.

Yep, I'm with you. With all of my buying and returning etc the only bands I'm truly happy with are my Sport Black and Stone Leather loop. I tried painting a pair of silver adapters, and they are now a close match, but the adapters themselves feel cheap and don't slide in and out very smoothly.

I have high expectations for the space gray click adapters and the Skagen Mesh band and click leather band...fingers crossed.

If anyone is interested in trying out the adapters from eBay, I have both styles in my possession, located in the North Eastern USA. Per the seller's description they were supposed to be made out of aluminum, but they ended up being the same polished stainless adapters everyone has been receiving thus far. I have the silver sport model and I'm not happy with mixing the finishes. I'm willing to sell both of them at a loss for $25 shipped. These are for the 24mm  Watch. PM me.

They just posted an update with the production model, and to be honest, the eBay spring adapters look better. The ebay ones curve at the bar, whereas click looks boxy.

I guess thats a matter of taste but for me the most important thing will be how it's finish matches the watch. I expect a perfect match and that is what has been missing in the aftermarket to date. We'll see.

They've also reduced their prices so if you purchased from their website (not the kickstarter campaign) then you've already paid more than somebody would pay who ordered today.

Another update with very little information. I might request a refund at this rate tbh as they have really missed the boat I think given they said shipping in May/June and we have zero idea of a shipping date!

You can't get a refund because that's not how Kickstarter works. You have agreed to invest in an idea, the campaign has ended, and your money has been taken for investment purposes. You have not pre-ordered a product.

It's surprising just how many people don't get that about Kickstarter or similar funding sites.

Hi guys!

I wanted to share some information with you regarding samples as we head closer to mass production. We're working really hard to iron out the final flaws and it looked looks like we may be shipping in time for Christmas 2017!

I've spent some time with the suppliers today because the adapters were 0.0006mm longer and 0.005 grams heavier than I had originally intended.

The new samples will be sent to the 3D printer and printed before I change them entirely again.

We are getting incredibly close to production now so make sure your shipping address is up to date! I know you have all moved house and changed jobs in the years that I have been taking to get the sizing right on this.

^ Good one :)

Good thing I only pre-ordered on their website, was able to cancel my order without any hassle.

Except that not everyone here paid through Kickstarter.
Click has had their website up for some time and the people who used it most certainly did pre-order a product.
