What is the weight of the new adaptor?

Anybody knows the weight of the new adaptor?

If you're using ISO system, this is week 30, US system week 29. The serial numbers seem to suggest Apple is using ISO.
 
Okay, so the new adapters are showing up in some MBP deliveries. But has anyone seen them available for purchase in an Apple retail store yet? In-stock at a walk-in store?

They even don't have any clue about small MBP adapter! :D

Much smaller, but how much hotter? Also, sucks for the people who have the large one. $80 for a second one...unless you take your MBP to and from one place to another daily, like an office type situation, then it's not worth buying.

I am using it for almost 4 days 16-17 hours a day, I can say that is working alot cooler than old power brick. :cool:

Why would it depend on when you order it? If thats the case I am not getting it, I ordered on the 20th of June.:confused:
 
I got my 15" a bit under a week ago from the apple store...any chance of getting a swap for the new power adapter (i.e. bring back the old power adapter and ask for the new)? Thanks

I don't think so... unless it is defective or something like that.

Oddly, i bought my mbp on the 1st of august in store in the UK, How have i got the small adapter lol, i thought it wasnt released in the UK? The old adapter still shows on the specs in the uk..

Apple Store still shows 3-4wks shipping time. Anyone ordered just the new MagSafe recently and how long did it take to arrive?
 
Wow, for just finding out about this, I am actually considering buying it to replace my current, huge, power adaptor. That would fit in my backpack a lot easier, and be lighter...
 
Do you guys know if the new redesigned adapter will have the smaller size format or back to the bulky adapter?
