The frame is the iOS 7 Grid System, which is based on parts of maths like the Golden Ratio. You can find several recreations of it online, though I use the per-pixel version stored in iOS itself. That's what's overlaid on the icon above.

That's why a page or so back I asked someone to upload the @3x Grids from the iPhone 6 Plus: so I could start work on the iPhone 6 Plus version of the theme.

Don't want to disappoint, but the 6 Plus version is still going to be a while yet :(

I'll let you know when it's nearly ready.
 
@Cobbyco what wallpapers do you enjoy using with your icons?

Maybe share your top three or might they be included with the theme? And if so which ones are your favorites.

The one I use is Atmosphere, the blue one included with the theme in the Wallpaper menu. Sometimes I change it up to use Pathway (the one on a field).

Yahoo weather and Bloons TD will both also be themed in the next update :)

I know that Snapchat was broken in the app update that came out today; it will be fixed in the next update. If any more icons are broken please tell me so I can fix them.

Google and Spotify were also broken in their latest updates, and will be fixed in 2.0.2.

Please tell me if any icons anywhere aren't theming! That includes Notification Centre, Settings and Spotlight search.
 
2.0.2 is nearly ready: just got to do some iPad retina testing and we're good to go!

Changelog:
  • 6 new icons (Bloons TD 5, Filza File Manager, Hill Climb Racing, Sky Force 2014, Springtomize 3, Yahoo Weather)
  • 3 fixed icons (Google, Snapchat, Spotify)
 
Sorry for the new question.. but how is Consillium compatible with the iPad but not iPhone 6+? What am I missing there if its the size of the icons?

Yea, it's the icon size. The normal retina sizes are:
  • 152x152 for iPad Homescreen
  • 120x120 for iPhone Homescreen
  • 80x80 for Spotlight/Siri
  • 58x58 for Settings
  • 40x40 for Notification Centre

Whereas iPhone 6 Plus uses:
  • 180x180 for Homescreen
  • 120x120 for Spotlight/Siri
  • 87x87 for Settings < This one is stupid; why use odd numbers?
  • 60x60 for Notification Centre
