And also, even if I could change repo now, I wouldn't. I want this to be a free update to the original theme, which I can't do if it's hosted on a separate repo.

It's a shame that when people think of MacCiti, they think of trash themes, despite that all being the ZodTTD side of the repo. They even redesigned their website to try and change this misconception.

I don't think that at all. And I'm sure for all the work you have done that people would buy it again.

Ok, not everyone thinks that. But you'll find a lot of people uninstall the repo because of the number of clipart and girl themes uploaded to the repo. What they don't realise is that MacCiti actually hosts some of the best iOS themes.

I don't want more of your money! I just want more people to enjoy the theme.

Also, r/iOSthemes post.

what is the url for the MacCiti repo?

cydia.zodttd.com/repo/cydia/

They share a repo with ZodTTD, which sucks as most of the stuff ZodTTD upload is crap, making people remove the repo.

They only joined together because at the start they were both too small. MacCiti is large enough now, and should really split from ZodTTD.

oh ok, I have that repo already.

Thanks for the update, it looks great. I've missed having a consistent look on my iPhone since iOS 8 dropped.

Not sure how I feel about the new super-sized glyphs (for example, the Whatsapp icon) but the more vibrant colors in 2.0 are very appealing.

It appears some icons are not themed?

Are you using an iPhone 6 Plus? Because at the moment it isn't supported.

Adding support requires remaking all the icons at 3 new sizes, on top of the 5 sizes already included, and because I make each icon from scratch at every size, that would take quite a while to do. It will be included at some point, but not soon. Sorry!

Why don't you just scale the image for each icon? It keeps the design...

You mean make one image and scale it down for every size required? I couldn't ever do that.

When you scale an image down, you lose some of the detail in the image (obviously), but importantly you also lose any pixel alignment the original icon had. That leaves edges all slightly blurred, removing that crisp and precise feeling each icon has. It just wouldn't be the best user experience possible.

If I'm going to add iPhone 6 Plus support, I'm going to do it properly, with every icon rendered pixel-perfectly at every required size. I'm too much of a perfectionist to cut corners like that. :)

Nice work.

Would you happen to have that dock image you were working on?

Could you share it?

Could it work on a 5S?

Thanks.

Are you currently taking icon request through the settings app?

Yes, I'm taking icon requests through the Settings app!

I stopped work on the dock mask, though I might consider giving it another shot. I don't have a decent mask for the 5s yet (which is why it was never included), so I can't give you anything yet.

I need you, or anyone else, to grab a few files for me on an iPhone 6 Plus, if that's OK.

Go into /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileIcons.framework/
In there will be several images (or possibly PDF's). The files I need are:
  • AppIconMask@3x~iphone.png
  • DefaultIcon-20@3x.png
  • DefaultIcon-29@3x.png
  • DefaultIcon-40@3x.png
  • DefaultIcon-60@3x~iphone.png
  • NotificationAppIconMask@3x.png
  • SpotlightAppIconMask@3x.png
  • TableIconMask@3x.png
  • TableIconOutline@3x.png

Just upload them somewhere like Google Drive or MEGA and give the link here. Thanks!

Let me guess: templates for your icons.

Basically, work on the iPhone 6 Plus version has begun. I need these files to ensure that all the parts of each icon line up perfectly with the Grid System.

The only issue with adding iPhone 6 Plus support compared to adding iPad retina support is testing: I don't own a 6 Plus, so when parts are ready (not for a while yet) I'm gonna have to rely on you guys to test the theme out.

Well, I don't have any other Apple device that runs the latest firmware. And I'm not using other family members' ones!

We don't have any 6 or 6 Plus anyways.

That's fine, just got to hope someone else here does have a 6 Plus!
