Convince me to stay with iPhone 4s

Perfect thread. I was also looking for a "convince me to stick to iphone thread" I was messing around with a few androids this summer, and my favorite to date is the Galaxy Note. so after 5 years of owning iphones (original, 3, 3gs, 4). I'm about to switch boats to android. probably getting the Galaxy note 2 when it comes out. my second/ backup option is the S3. but i prefer the note.


After all these years with apple, i feel like the iphone has lost its "edge" over the others. The best 3 things in my opinion in the iphone is. 1) OS, 2) App Store, 3) the gorilla glass touch screen. Over the last few years android has been improving and finally reached or surpassed apple in all of the above. soooo, Android > iphone.


PS: only reason you should stick with iphone in my opinion is if you like the silky smoothness of everything. i feel like droids are sometimes laggier and jerkier than iphone.

I can't help but feel that basically this thread was a cry for attention and you planned on getting what you did the entire time. "Please convince me" blah blah blah. Basically you had all the information you needed, bought the S3 and then trashed iOS, iPhone 5 and the people that buy iPhone/apple. Something tells me you may have a lot of maturing to do.

Lol yea, im a rich dbag that wasted $100 in fees just to be a jerk on an apple forum. The 4s was a costly mistake. It was silky smooth alright , but in a boring way.

Seriously you guys are deranged... First of all small screen=better! It's a phone dammit!... If you want to watch movies and stuff buy a tablet... Or whatever the hell that joke the 'galaxy note' is! Also the whole copying thing.. Yeah it's true apple ripped a bunch of ideas off but at least they put some thought into their integration! Those same features in android basically suck! They are slow and buggy or are not integrated enough so that all apps use them... Seriously about half of the features in android are basically in Beta stages of development but are advertised as features!

If you take the "it's a phone dammit" idea seriously, you can say the same thing about 99.99% of smartphones.

I was looking for a thread like this. I have used the iPhone 4 and 4s both since launch. I really like the larger screens on the SG3 and the nexus. How is typing versus the iPhone? I've read plenty on the devices in just curious with people who have used both devices.

I type faster on the Nexus than on the iPhone.

I don't know. Like I said earlier, it's just a phone and Apple don't pay anyone, except make everyone poorer lol.

Why do Apple fans defend the company more than their kids and family? I don't understand.

I like good products, if apple doesn't deliver, I go to Samsung, if Samsung don't deliver, go to Motorola... HTC... I'm very tempted in trying Windows 8 phone also.

Apple is very clever because they have control over the fans. I couldn't believe how excited people were when they announced in IOS6 "now you can reply a message if you can't answer the phone". The crowd was bowing. lol.

Typing is the number one reason I'm hanging on to android and not switching to iPhone. Swiftkey on android makes my typing speed about 80% faster.

If pointing out the facts is being defensive than sure, I'm being defensive. I own many devices from many different manufacturers. As a matter of fact right now I'm using an S3 that I decided to pick up to give it a go. I'll buy 2 iPhone 5's when they come out and use that for a while. This has nothing to do with defending any manufacturer. You had an agenda when you started this thread and it was to come and bash iOS, iPhone, Apple and the people that buy their products. I didn't invent this scenario it's a factual history of the posts you made. Sorry if you have an issue with someone pointing out those facts. Why is your agenda to protect apple more than your family? they don't pay you dividends nor bonuses for owning their products, unless you own stocks then that would be understanding.
