You know... now that I think about it... It might be the other way around! The Dells have been using Intel chips for years and years... and then Apple had to come along and Rip off their Idea to have intel chips in their computers!
Thats it Im switching back to where the real inovation is... DELL!
... in all seriousness, hardware design is really superficial now... the guts in dells, sonys,apples and many pc manufacturers are going to be very similar now... why? because they're all based on the same processors... further more having a built in camera is an obvious addition... apple didnt do it first, and even if Dell did... I would hope Apple wouldnt think twice about doing the same... its a great feature.
so when you say "they are copying apple" no, they really arent. they're just following the consumer Market trends... just as apple is doing, although I must say apple is in a better position to be creating the trends too.
there are Two big differences between those things to linked to and macs, one: those things are bulky and ugly, and two: they cant run OSX. So in my, and apparently many other mac user's opinion, they are very different.
no one means to jump on your back about it... but you have to admit that your logic is a little off.. that would be like saying that dell copied apple when releasing a computer with a cd-r drive... first off, I doubt either were the first, and second, if they didnt... they'd lose sales because that is a new feature that everyone will be looking for now.
now if they released a computer that looked exactly like the macbook pro...even having the light up logo on the lid that said "dell"
that would be a more legitimate "copy" but even then I could hardly blame dell for finally wanting to make a laptop that looked sexy.
