Wine or Rosetta there are emulators so must translate intel-arm code. Any emulator must run slower than on PC with the same performance. In addition compatibility is not 100%.The conclusions are simple ; you must have a machine on Intel CPU for 100% performance/compatibility. Also, the number of Linux distro for M1/M2 is very limited (maybe one ?) and there are fewer arm apps available.
