Bought 1m charger cable today at my local Apple Store.

The watch comes with a 2m cable which will remain routed through my watch stand (whenever that comes) on my night table. I wanted a second one for travel and to keep at the office just in case the battery is running low and need to top it off.

In the last 36hrs though since I received mine at 8am yesterday (Friday), I suspect battery life will rarely be a big issue for me.

i got a second one to charge the watch at work, like i do with my phone, but, i'm finding that overnight charging is enough. :):apple:

Interesting, thanks! That would save me from carrying cables and wall charges like what I carry now-

I own both and find it easier to travel with the Belkin - it takes up less space in my bag and gives me two ports for my ipad and iphone, plus surge protection for my MBA. Since I always toss the ipad wall charger in my small carry-on for quick access, I should still be covered port-wise once I get my watch.

I bought a cable off of amazon which actually worked like it should. its made by a company called sundix. Anyone else using this?

Picked up a few extras cables for the watch. 1 for the car, 1 to carry in my bag, one for the when I'm by the computer, and one it came with for the bedroom for charging over night.

Ordered one of the 1m cables from Apple yesterday (and it shipped today). I wanted one to use for traveling and to have by my computer and the longer cable seemed like overkill.
