I'm not sure why that would be an improvement?

Looking at the picture of the US Belkin multi port plug, makes me just think it wouldn't stay plugged in to the wall if the plug socket was a greater distance off the floor, than the length of the device.

There's just a lot of weight beneath the two pins.

A UK plug has longer pins and a shutter mechanism, which I think would eliminate any such worries.

Actually the plug rotates so you can mount it sideways, up, down whatever works best for you. It's worked very well for me.

Ok, but it's still only held in the wall by 2 short/flat pins.

I can't see that pushing it in 'upwards' would be a good idea-it just looks like it will tilt away from the wall.

You forgot the third, ground pin.

Yeah I see what you mean. I haven;t had an issue yet, but I also haven''t dangled an iPad from it lol.

It works well, but is a bit bulky. I think I'll try the Anker someone recommended. Anything I can do to streamline my travel I'm all for.

I just can't get away from the vision of it just toppling away from the wall.

It is 2 pin with a third ground pin (it is in the center below the two pins). This is not used for every product. Things that require grounding use it, things that do not simply leave it off.

Two standard type of plugs in the use- two and three pin for normal 15amp AC. There's a lot of others here for different applications of course.

I just got a charge on my card for the 1 meter extra charging cable. My watch is in the 5-13 batch, no charge on that yet.

My card has been charged $56 and I think thats the cable, I'll know for sure in a day or two when I get the details but I'm 100% sure thats the cable. I haven't used that card for any other purchases. Makes sense, $49 + 13% tax is 55.37, so About $56. Yay!

My card was just charged for the extra cable. This is a separate order from my watch, which is in the first wave.

Just got charged $31.03 from APL*APPLEONLINESTORESUS. I ordered the 1M charging cable back on 4/10, minutes after my :apple:WATCH preorders.

Order status still says Processing, though.

I ordered one then cancelled. I won't have my watch till June so once I get my watch I should be able to purchase one from an Apple store.

My credit card was just hit for $32.31. I ordered the same cable on a separate order. My order status still shows Processing on both orders.

In for one (short cable). Just hoping the cable isn't made obsolete when the next version comes out.

Honestly I didn't even think about this. Luckily when I checked online the thing comes with a 2m charging cable. I figured it would come with a 1m like the iPhone and iPad, but I guess it makes sense as other people like me will probably route the cable to weird places like on top of their dresser. I suppose I'll order a 1m cable to keep at work and for travel. I bet it will take me some time to remember to charge my watch (I usually wear my watch to bed, yeah I'm a weirdo), so having a cable at work would be handy.
