When was this

I saw that recently too. If you check it now it will say 2m. I will buy another one later but I don't think many people will need more than one unless they break as easy as the lightning cables do. Which I doubt if your using any kind of stand with it. I bought the Spigen stand for $20 on Amazon. The stand will hold the end piece in place so it never needs to move and this is where the lightning cables always fail/break from constant twisting and movement. If your only charging it once every night at home theres no need for more than one for now. Especially while Apple is giving you a $40 cable in the box. iPhones only get a $20 cable ;)

I bought one and the 12 w power adapter. Of all of my Apple orders, only the power adapter has shipped. It gives me some consolation.

Interesting, thanks! That would save me from carrying cables and wall charges like what I carry now-

The one from the Amazon link you still need cables but not the wall adapters
With the Amazon link device it charges the iPad at full speed , is like using the wall plug that came with the iPad , but now you have 6 ports

This thing or the anker version is useful if you travel or at home if you have a lot of usb devices to charge or usb devices the need power like speakers or clock

or a big family with lots of iOS devices , you put this in the living room
Everybody charges there iPads & iPhones at the same time with one wall plug

Yes, bought a spare for work. Sometimes I like to take off my watch when I'm really typing a lot and I figure... if it's going to be off, it may as well be charging.

I did a seperate order for a charging cable. Did it separately after my watch order just to play it safe. I wanted a 2m but accidentally ordered a 1m. I'll keep it for car and just order another 2m.

I did exactly the same, but I ordered the 2m. I am everywhere all of the time. Traveling for work via car & plane. So I need an extra, in case i misplace one.

Bought a 2m one on a separate order to keep in my laptop bag.

Me too.

You never know when you have to leave quickly without a lot of planning. If I know its in my bag, i can just grab that along with my macbook and iPad.

Goodness. when i leave with all that I will have nearly 6K of apple things on my body.

Should just work for them.

Just placed an order , it says shipping 4/30 - 5/5

For the 1mm

Standard shipping
It asked me if I wanted faster shipping but I didn't check to see how much that would be

That's a great idea.

Omg thank you everyone yes I made a second order for the 2m cable for the dodocase charging stand but I do now need to make change to order as I've also ordered the nomad charging pod ( need 1m cable ) .
But really do need to wake up 1st .
The idea of making changes to orders is scary at best .

Just a note. Based on a recommendation on these forums I bought the 4 port Anker for travel. We usually have two phones, two iPads and sometimes my old iPod, my Fitbit, and Bluetooth headphones. I keep it and a set of cables (actually two sets, each has a lightning, miniUSB and a 30-pin connected to a USB. In my travel gear so I never forget it. Since my husband used to always forget his chargers now he's covered too. And not having to search a hotel room for 5 different electrical outlets is sooooo nice. Really got tired of crawling around on the floors to reach the lamp plug!

I love it so much I bought the 5 port for home. I also got a stand and now I can charge everything in one spot. Anker makes great products.
