I'm also a bit shocked, so I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow aka launch day for the reviews, I'm a bit bummed!Seems strange the embargo hasn’t lifted when the products are released tomorrow.
Here's your opportunity to scoop all those big names! It could also be that UK folks like me will have their units before the reviews, if they come out at like 9AM in the US.

The usual reviewers purchasing both a Macbook Air, Pro and Mini. How vague. What have you “seen on Twitter”?
I believe you would still purchase personal units if you want to do long-term testing and reviews. The review units that are handed out by Apple in advance have to be returned at the end of the review period; they're just temporary loaners. The usual reviewers purchasing both a Macbook Air, Pro and Mini.
If you have review units then you’re not going to purchase 3 different models for your own use.
They don't get to keep review models, they always buy their own.The usual reviewers purchasing both a Macbook Air, Pro and Mini.

A lot of those guys are collectors, plus they might have only been sent one M1 Mac as a review unit and want to review them all then return them? You're probably right though.Yes, but why buy 3 different models for personal use? Makes no sense.
You’d just buy the one you actually need, wouldn’t you?
That could go either way...
