Im calling it Now. New 2019 iPad Pro with A12X March 2019
Highly unlikely! And even you probably know that and you are just shooting blindly.

I am due for all three !! And it is giving me sleepless nights to even dare to think about buying all three devices !! lol !!
What are you on now? I think its the lust that talks rather then pure need. People these days waste so much money going for the latest when in fact very little they need.
I think 3-4 years upgrade cycles for iPhone is more than reasonable. I'm still on iPhone 6. I had iPhone 8 but returned it as I didn't get much value out of it for the price. Undecided on the current setup but might sit this one out also. Its just too expensive to gain better photos and faster phone when most of the rest is pretty much the same.

Watch? I'm on S2 and I think I will keep that for another 2 years or so unless Apple does something substantial. Right now its just very incremental (which is fine) but it shows that we shouldn't be upgrading so often.
Unfortunately, this type of thinking comes to people at different stages of their lives. Not necessarily related to age but more experience + personal circumstances but I feel that humans would benefit more from less LUST and more REASON-ABILITY. We buy so much ****, that we don't actually need, its crazy.

I don’t think Apple will change over to USB – C for the iPad Entirely. It’s just going to confusing with different cables and adapters that will be needed for the iPad all together. But I think what they will do is include the USB-C charging in the box, but I don’t believe the lightning port will be entirely dropped from the iPad.

However, some are under the notion its more logical to start in terms of iOS with USB-C, which would achieve video, audio, and various peripherals connected through one port, which I do understand that side of the discussion.
The lightning to USB adapter already fills this role, and Apple seems to love adapters. I use this to connect my mixing board to my iPad or iPhone to use with GarageBand.

The Holiday sales season is huge for most any business. I can understand companies coming out with theyre biggest and best products as early as September, but November sounds too late for people to have the time to decide on what they’re going to spend they’re Christmas cash on. I say if there is going to be a second (Mac centric) event, then it will be the second half of October and that’s when we’ll see the new iPad Pro ‘computer’ along with a new laptop and Mini Pro.
You're right. All Apple post Sep events are in October - has there ever been one in November? I predict one around the time of the iPhone XR release, where they will also remind the public that the XR has gone on sale.

The Series 4 sold out completely in minutes. Apple Watch is becoming a very big deal.

Does Apple release sales figures for the watch? We don’t know how much stock there was to begin with and how fast they replenish stock.

Until we have numbers it’s just a guessing game - and stock is almost always low at the beginning of an Apple product’s life (HomePod probably excluded).

That may be so, but given how it already seems like about every third person I see is wearing an Apple Watch these days and the series 0/1 are ripe for upgrade, this generation is going to spark some major sales. And by most analysts figures, even though nothing has ever been said by Apple, the Apple Watch is a hit product even before Series 4. Tech sites may not want to admit it because they’ve been trashing the product for years, but it’s true.

Reports are Apple sold 8 million last quarter and it’s growing each year its becoming massive

I could never have an iPhone without an Apple Watch now

I’m guessing (ok....hoping) once the dust settles and the orders are filled from the September event (both of which shouldn’t take long), then the time will be ripe for the second half of Apples announcements occurring at an event in late October, early November at the latest (iPad Pro, new Laptop, Mini Pro) in time to cash in on the Holiday sales season.

It is growing and getting closer day by day, an imminent announcement of the iPad Pro.

Because I don’t want to be pulling my phone out every 5 secs to view all my notifications. Certainly doesn’t help battery life either.

Thanks for the reply.

Personally I’m not at that stage as yet but the watch is increasingly becoming an interesting device to me...I’m curious as to why and I guess I’m not alone . :)

Best.

How’re we looking now? I stopped obsessively checking news sites? Early October? I leave the states oct 20 so that’s my only chance till again in March.

And what about that usb c connection. Think we might get onboard storage ?

Pretty sure you’re SOL. The announcement won’t be until the middle to end of October. And we all know how much Apple likes to hype things, so won’t be able to order until the end of that week (whenever it happens) and it’ll be a minimum of one week from that point before it’s actually released. Very well possible that the release date isn’t until sometime in the first half of November.

Ah man. Looks like no iPad for me this release season. Will have to wait till the next trip

Yeah it’s pretty disappointing that the announcement couldn’t have been at the September event. Wish they didn’t insist on dragging things out all the time.

What is more sad is, Apple still does not want to ship its product with Fast Chargers. With a Price like a Bomb, Apple stills is living in some by gone era and is still shipping with the regular standard 5 Watts chargers dating 3 years back. MEH !!
