Windows is supported/still works on older machines that do not get further MacOS updates, so in a sense I can miss it, but as far as the M1 goes currently, no.

i keep hearing that developers test there code on mac os X, and on winsows. are you serious? so seomebody buys a mac to test his code on windows? and another sistem to test it on...?

With the Intel-based Macs, a developer could have one machine with both Mac OS and Windows running on it to develop and test for both platforms without needing a second machine. Virtualization also can accomplish the same thing, but running Windows directly on the Mac hardware rather then via Parallels, VMWare, etc. does have its advantages over the virtual method. With the M1, the only approach is virtualization of an OS such as Windows on ARM (WoA), or one of the many linux distros with ARM binaries.
