Do you think we'll see a redesigned iMac this year for 2016?

The only redesign I would be able to imagine is reducing dem bezels. It's already as thin as can be ("watch me" – Jony). Adding USB-C doesn't really qualify as redesign. What else could really be done with it? Rose gold?

Other than slimming the "chin" and bezels I don't see much of a point of a redesign. If anything I wish they'd make it a little fatter so they could put a desktop video card in it.

Mmmmmm iMac with a GTX 1080? Yes please!

But one can dream, I suppose. I don't see them doing a redesign. I don't think they'll bring multiple colors to the iMac (as much as I'd like a space gray one), and I don't see them doing a redesign just to cut bezels down a bit.

What about a 32'' touch iMac Pro with pencil for artists? *
Something like the Wacom Cintiq (I already use :D).

"just planting seeds here"

* it would require a reclinable stand

Now you're _really_ dreaming. ;P

I don't see Apple bringing touch screens to the iMac.

Me neither, I bought a very expensive Cintiq 27'' just a year ago, I don't want to change that for about 3-4 years at least! :D

It's a niche market, but that's true also for the iPad pro.

Is it that difficult to rotate one's hand so as to reach a single finger one inch up from the bottom to located the easily distinguished button?

I'm being totally serious with the question. Do people really find the power button on the iMac difficult to locate without rotating the entire computer?

At first I hated the idea of ports and power button on the back, but I found that I rarely need to add/remove cables once they're plugged in, and I only power-down the iMac on major software updates or before a vacation, etc. The power button is easy to find, so I eventually found it to be a non-issue. But that's just me.

You are limited in mounting options especially VESA with the button on the back.

It's not an issue for me because my 27" iMac can't fit into the same space of the computer it replaced but if it could the power button and USB ports would be nearly inaccessible.

So we have seen a new iMac or refresh every year since 2010? I'm still on a very old 2007 as I have a power book, however I can't justify such a massive outlay for old tech. Here's hoping we see a release this year!

@mendosasenemy I think confidence is fairly high we'll see a refresh in hardware. There is less confidence that Apple will change the look of the iMac this year.
