oooh, memories! This makes me want this case even more!Yeah, it does. It also makes the edges rounded and feel like a bigger iPhone 2G.

haha I love this! My 15PM is already big, I don’t mine it being a little more bulky. I loved the hell out of my 2G, that thing changed my life for the better and I’ve only had iPhones since then.View attachment 2296671
iPhone 2G for comparison, it's almost the same thickness!
Yeah, feels exactly like my old 3GS case lolYeah, it does. It also makes the edges rounded and feel like a bigger iPhone 2G.
Then there should also be a "Hell, no!" option as well. And there needs to be a "Hell, yes." option for the poll.
Yes, it’ll work perfectly but the MagSafe accessories won’t stick very well to your phone. If you do plan to use a MagSafe battery pack, you could purchase a MagSafe ring, such as the ESR HaloLock, to stick onto your case manually.I went caseless for awhile on 15 pro, but the problem is I realized just how slippery it is, which made it unpleasant to use with one hand. The backside is especially slippery, with its matte glass finish. Also had issues with the palm of my left hand hitting the screen while using keyboard and just holding normally, causing all sorts of issues with typing and accidental touches in apps (likely due to the very thin screen bezels this year).
Ended up getting a thin clear case yesterday. All those issues are gone and it seriously doesn’t even look like I have a case on it from over a foot away. It cost barely over $10. Also upsides are that it sits stable when putting down and without a clatter noise. My wireless and MagSafe stuff work normally despite it not being a MagSafe case.
I actually quite prefer the weaker hold so far.. the MagSafe items attached so hard to bare phone I had to literally pry them off with force. Now they detach much easier with one hand.Yes, it’ll work perfectly but the MagSafe accessories won’t stick very well to your phone. It’s fine for a static MagSafe charger however the phone’s magnet is too weak with a case on to keep hold of the battery pack. I had a non-MagSafe charger case for 9 months and was exclusively MagSafe charging with no problems. I switched to a MagSafe case now that I occasionally use an Apple MagSafe battery pack.I actually quite prefer the weaker hold so far.. the MagSafe items attached so hard to bare phone I had to literally pry them off with force. I was concerned my car mount might drop the phone with the weaker hold but I took the car out and went over plenty of bumps, it has held without issue.
It depends partly on the case material and thickness. The thicker ones will have more issues. It’s fine for a static MagSafe charger however the phone’s magnet is too weak with a case on to keep hold of the battery pack. I’m interested in the MagSafe batteries but currently don’t really have a need for it.. and I figured the MagSafe cases would weigh a bit more, be a bit thicker, and I don’t like the look of it on clear cases. So I guess I’m fine for now, but good to knowView attachment 2299021My previous case had no thickness and the magnet was too weak for a MagSafe battery to be used as intended.
Whenever I used the battery pack, I pretty much had to leave the phone on the table or use it carefully otherwise it would slip off. I have a MagSafe compatible case now which allows me to place the phone with the battery pack attached into my pocket without it slipping off.
You have to clean a silicone case once every 1-2 months to prevent lint buildup which could wear down the paint around the sides. I’ve been using them since 2016 and never had so much as a scratch on any of my iPhones.Yes, strictly with microfibre inside. My 11 got badly scratched and marked by dust particles between the case and the phone, so with my 15 Pro I only use cases with soft inside edges.
I did clean it every 2 weeks, but the bigger particles did the damage in no timeYou have to clean a silicone case once every 1-2 months to prevent lint buildup which could wear down the paint around the sides. I’ve been using them since 2016 and never had so much as a scratch on any of my iPhones.
My friend didn’t clean his phone and after 1.5 years within a silicone case, his 13 now has no paint along the sides, lol.
Aww. I think you’re just the victim of really bad luck then as it normally takes months for damage to be caused to your phone. I did have an Apple silicone case with felt inside when I used a 12 Mini. I hope something like that works for you and you don’t get anymore scratches. I’d hate to have scratches or paint chips as they can never be repaired.I did clean it every 2 weeks, but the bigger particles did the damage in no time
